Darline Graham breaks with brother on nuking filibuster

Sen. Darline Graham (R-S.C.) on Monday broke with her brother, the late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), over abolishing the filibuster three weeks after stepping in to finish the rest of his term.

“One of the first things I did was co-sponsor the SAVE America Act. As I said earlier, I’m willing to stay through recess to get it done. What’s up with recess anyway? Who gets a month off from work? I think we should stay up there and work and get it done,” Darline Graham said during the GOP Senate debate in Columbia, S.C.

“This is where I differ from my brother, getting rid of the filibuster to get this done. Because eventually the Democrats are going to get rid of it anyway,” she added, in reference to how Republicans should handle passing legislation to change voter registration requirements.

Earlier this year, Lindsey Graham said lawmakers could consider nuking the filibuster in the future but warned against it in the short term.

She'll be a RINO, and regret will last until 2050.

I think this is a bad idea running for her brother's seat...but that's just my opinion.

Agree.  She has no legislative history, or any idea of even what we think she might do. 

And honestly....   Trump is batting about .200 lately.

I'm all for getting rid of the filibuster. It just protects these do nothing hacks in there anyway.
