AI can't integrate itself with exisiting application architectures ... unless 'cat > /dev/AI' works on command-line.
There will be a few years of growing pains ... figuring out security ... figuring out costs ... figuring out positive-value propositions vs negative-value propositions ... data-center buildouts will hit regulatory, financial, and supply-chain road blocks ... losers who took on too much debt will face cash liquidity, cash flow, accounting, auditing, and reporting issues/scandals ... re-assesment of data center architectures to better scale within constraints of electricity supply, chip supply, and revenues ...
One of my apps broke the bank when it consumed 4.8 cents worth of AI tokens last month ... it was only budgeted for .005/cent ... were the AI results worth the cost incurred? ... that's for Finance and business analysts to determine ... right now we are in the schoolground sand-box phase of the speculative AI moonshot, consequences and costs be damned.
