Elon Musk expects artificial intelligence to exceed the sum of human intelligence in about five years and thinks that humans will no longer be in control in ten years. In an interview with Zanny Minton Beddoes, The Economist’s editor-in-chief, he predicts an “age of amazing abundance”

Even don a white tunic.  No more cancer.  Need a new heart?  No problem.

AI's intelligence compared to a human genius...will be like that genius to a chimpanzee.

Okay...so close your eyes for 50 years.  NUCLEAR WAR!

If he is right, than the outcome that was in the storyline of the movie The Terminator will be manifested in full, and man will be determined to be fully expendable, and will be hunted and exterminated.  Much to look forward to in the future, eh?
