TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Two American service members were killed in action in Jordan on Friday, US Central Command said.

The deaths happened as US and partner forces defended against ballistic missiles and drone attacks from Iran, the Tampa-based department announced Saturday afternoon.

One service member is also missing, CENTCOM said.

The attacks forced four soldiers to be medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals, but they have since been discharged.

I didn't see much defending going on at all.  In fact, it appears that American AA capabilities have atrophied so much that they are now near ineffective.  CENTCOM can't even defend its own bases in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, and the UAE any more, which is why there are sudden overcrowding problems at Ben Gurion airport, all the U.S. hardware and personnel are being moved to Israel.
