The unmarried leftwing Ms. Innamorato wants every employer in the county to provide paid pregnancy leave, even a mom & pop business with one or two employees. Seems more than a little self-serving. She didn't mention who's the daddy.

Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato became emotional Tuesday as she announced she is pregnant with her first child, a son, during her third quarterly address of the year.
Innamorato used the announcement to highlight her proposed paid parental leave legislation, saying she hopes other families will have the same opportunity to take time off after welcoming a child.
“I will be so disappointed in myself as the first county executive who will give birth in office to not be able to provide parental leave for other families who are struggling every day and just want that time to recover and to bond and to build their family,” Innamorato said. ...
The paid parental leave proposal, which was introduced in May, would require all county employers to provide 18 weeks of fully paid parental leave following the birth, adoption or foster placement of a child. ...
