If you want to know why Politico risked the inevitable mockery that will ensue by whining absurdly about the supposed dangers posed to the environment by the America 250 fireworks the answer is easily supplied by simply reading the first word of the title of their Friday KvetchFest, "Trump plans record fireworks show, internal docs warn of smoky skies."

Substitute the name of any Democrat president such as Clinton or Obama or Autopen and the silly story by the Politico troika of Alex Guillen, Miranda Willson, and Ariel Wittenberg would have been nonexistent. Yes, they just can't allow President Donald Trump to enjoy along with thousands of spectators what they consider to be a triumphal moment without raining on the parade. TDS is just that powerful, especially at Politico.

Now let us watch the Politico team make an attempt at a thin veneer of concern over supposed fireworks pollution despite us (and them) knowing what this is really all about:

Trump is so cruel.....the grand finale probably gave the Iranian MOOLAHS a PTSD attack. It certainly gave the fascist Left a TDS attack....lol

I always go back to what 'THEY' said when mt. St. Helens went off up in here...
'THEY'... The official scientific ex-spurts... said that volcano let off more pollutants than the entire history of man.

If that is true (which, who the hell knows if it is), then the obvious thing to do is stop all these volcanoes from going off all the time - There's one going off somewhere almost always... Do that and things would clean up considerably, without anything men can do.

So make volcanoes illegal.

We noticed lots of noise last night, after we turned off the Tv since it started so late at midnight.

Turns out it was also very long…lots of rumbling up to 12:40.  Since we’ve had storms I wasn’t sure.

What we were hearing was indeed the massive fireworks display, which only just ended when I noticed the quiet.

We’re about 30 miles away.  Amazing.  And just shows indeed, how impactful this was.
