Bro. I don’t know where your $$ is sitting, but we eat steak.

I can't afford steak.  And I do not accept a stock market driven by the same rules of supply and demand as everything else to be an indicator of the overall health of the economy (especially when that supply curve keeps getting shifted rightwards by $2 trillion every year).  I just simply want Trump to finish the job.  Taking out the IRGC would be his greatest foreign policy victory of his entire Presidency.  And it frustrates me to no end to watch him give enough pause again and again allowing the IRGC to regroup.

Saudi-led coalition says 11 civilians were injured in Najran Province following what it described as Houthi attacks on Thursday.

Coalition spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki said the injured include seven Saudi nationals (including four children), one Yemeni, two Egyptians, and one Pakistani. The statement accused Houthi forces of carrying out indiscriminate attacks targeting civilian-populated areas, calling them violations of international humanitarian law.

The coalition said it would continue taking measures to deter further attacks and protect civilians.

That poster you’re responding to told me I’d be eating crow when it comes to the economy under Trump

And maybe he’s right. Crow may be the cheapest meat for people to buy now

When their only rebuttal is to bring up MSNOW, you know their talking points are falling apart

Lol

I doubt that increasing numbers of Americans  are  impressed with your stock portfolio and the fact that you get to eat steak while they struggle to  afford basic necessities😁

I'm an immigrant.

Worked my ass off since I tuned 14. Didn't spend money on foolish things like $10 cups of coffee and $100 sneakers, and dropped as much as possible into my 401K, etc.

Let me say that again... we did NOTHING for 50 years, so I'll give it whatever time it takes to get it done right.

They let you off the Lincoln Project Mother Ship?

Kudos Junior.

Why do you keep bringing up the Lincoln Project, or Jim Cramer,   every time you’re losing an argument to me?

I couldn’t even name a member of the Lincoln Project

You told me last year that I would be eating crow when it comes to the economy and inflation. I’m just giving you a chance to say you were wrong, that’s all

So now not only do we have a poor economy with rising prices, we now have a new war that’s being horribly mismanaged by Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump. And then add on more debt and more government to the mix. Thank God and neither one of them were around during World War II

Trump ran on bringing down prices and no new wars and both of those are gone, see ya, bye bye. And the voters are going to “reward”  he and the GOP this November.

All the name-calling in the world isn’t gonna change that.

But if you want to sell this economy and this war to voters as some  kind of success… Good luck, sport😁

So why did Donald Trump and others in 2024 claim  that if Harris got elected, we would be in a war in the Middle East due to her weakness and incompetence

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9TwkFWWD57c&ra=m

Why did Donald Trump say that Obama would attack Iran to boost declining poll  numbers back when Obama was president?

https://www.facebook.com/reel/1435126901016417/?hpir=1

So, based on Trump, and people like JD Vance’s and Gabbard’s own standard, is it fair to say that Trump attacked Iran because he is weak and  incompetent and he’s trying to boost his poll  numbers(which is failing)😁

Now, I am fully expecting you to try to make me the issue. But I’m just simply using their own words and campaign promises…. That’s all.

I’m not too worried about the Democrats winning the Housec this fall and,  a good chance to also take the Senate, as government will be at least divided enough for anybody to do too much damage

But if their momentum carries into 2028, where they get the presidency and both chambers of Congress in 2028, then look out

People had economic anxieties before the war. Now you add the war on, which started out without public support, and we could see a 2006 and 2008 type scenario repeat itself

We still have a full compliment of the missiles that should be used in retaliation, if it comes to that.

That's the plan - the Mad Mullahs and their IRGC would welcome martyrdom with open arms. Its not about wining for them, its about brining the 12th Imam back, which can only be accomplished by the scent of blood of millions dead. Millions of us, millions of them, millions of Jews, millions of Christians:

Apocalypse, the divine mission of the Mad Mullahs to bring everyone to Paradise.

Am not an immigrant, but grew up in a lower middle class family of 11 kids and we began working at an early age and more than half of us graduated from college, working and paying our own way.

We did not complain but saw opportunity.

You are spot on.  Gratitude for that opportunity to make it is much better than the pessimism some exhibit at every turn.

It is the American dream, and I now raise cattle and eat steak whenever I wish.  Now that I am thinking about it, a ribeye tonight sounds good to me.

Saudi Arabia is expecting imminent attacks from Iraqi militias in the north and Yemen’s Houthis in the south under the direction of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a report said.

A senior Saudi official told Reuters that intelligence reports from Saudi Arabia, the U.S. and other countries indicated that energy infrastructure, ports and airports are among the potential targets.

The official added that Saudi Arabia has observed drones and missiles being moved in preparation, suggesting a coordinated operation from both directions could be looming.

Saudi Arabia is ready to respond to “any aggression,” the official also told Reuters.

Can we finally acknowledge who’s in control in Iran and start acting accordingly?

Report: Iranian Leaders Fear Mojtaba Khamenei’s Decline — Officials ‘Would Not Be Surprised’ by His Martyrdom

Senior Iranian officials are reportedly growing increasingly concerned about the health of the country’s unseen Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, with one source close to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s government saying officials “would not be surprised” to soon hear news of his death.

Iranian general vows US must accept Tehran's conditions to reopen Strait of Hormuz: report

Iranian Gen. Hossein Mohebbi, a spokesperson for Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, claimed Saturday that the Strait of Hormuz will only reopen if the United States accepts Iran’s terms.

“Whenever the American side accepts the conditions of the Islamic Republic of Iran and abandons its interventionist approach, the conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz will certainly be provided,” Mohebbi was quoted as saying by Iran’s state-run Tasnim News Agency.

Mohebbi reportedly added that the Strait of Hormuz is not just an economic passage, it’s a symbol of Iran’s geopolitical power.

He also said the reopening is “completely independent” of ongoing talks between Iran and Oman, according to the Tasnim News Agency.

Well, in combination with the projected 'martyrdom' of Khomeni, it appears the IRGC is running the show over there. If we can't 'negotiate' with the current leader, maybe it's time for them to get a new one.

Or 47 could be more constant, and do far better job of explaining just what would happen should Iran get a nuke - we all here know by most of the public has no clue.

Obviously, Israel, since they have spent so much blood and treasure to run terrorist operations against her, but also, and perhaps especially, the United States. With strong Muslim footholds in Minneapolis, Michigan, New York, and even Texas, other cities would be on the target list. (Consider that whatever they call it, "bragging rights" are a big thing.)

Well, New York would probably be safe, because it's run by a Muslim, but maybe not because of banking and Jews. Dearborn, too... But cities like Washington, D.C. would be high on the target list. Chicago, if they could find a way to hit it, and any area of prosperity without a large Muslim population.
Consider their intermediate range ballistic missiles can reach most of Europe, and
Geneva might be one on their list, because so much western banking goes through there, and despite London and Paris being squashed into dhimmitude, all of Europe's Capitals are storehouses of western treasures, from the Vatican to the Louvre to the British Museum, all would be fine opportunities to turn 2000 years of Western history and art to rubble.

Iran would consider all muslims killed as martyrs and fortunate enough to have gone to Paradise.

Cruz: We Should Arm Kurds to ‘Collapse’ Iran’s Regime, Don’t Care if Turkey Doesn’t Like It

Ian Hanchett 8 Aug 2026

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) argued the U.S. should pursue “regime collapse” in Iran by arming protesters in the country, including the Kurds, and said that “I don’t care that Erdogan in Turkey doesn’t like it. It is in our interest not to have a theocratic lunatic leading Iran, who is actively trying to, and, tragically, succeeding in killing Americans, and so, I think we ought to go down that road.”

Cruz began by saying, “I think the president has had extraordinary leadership standing up to the threat of Iran. The ayatollah and the Islamic regime there have been waging war with the United States for 47 continuous years. They have been the world’s number one leading funder of terrorism across the globe. They have killed nearly a thousand Americans. And the ayatollah, twice, hired hitmen to try to murder President Trump. And so, President Trump, earlier this year, acted decisively as commander-in-chief to take out their military capacity and to prevent them from acquiring a nuclear weapon. I think he was exactly right to do so. In my view, the objective here should be regime collapse.”

He added that “what I have urged from the beginning of this conflict is for us to arm the Iranian protesters. Look, President Trump is not going to send American boots on the ground. We should not have American soldiers in harm’s way in Iran. But the protesters, there are millions of protesters there that are living under this Islamic tyranny, this forced Sharia law, and they want to be free. We saw, at the beginning of this conflict, between 10,000 and 40,000 protesters murdered by the regime. It’s not fair to expect protesters with rocks to stand up to soldiers with machine guns. If we’d armed the protesters, the Iranians could be in charge of determining their own future, instead of American soldiers in harm’s way.”

Cruz further stated that “there were early discussions, earlier this year, in the administration, about arming the protesters, in particular, arming the Kurds, who have been a very loyal American ally in multiple conflicts. The public reporting was that that idea was killed because Erdogan in Turkey didn’t like it. Well, look, at the end of the day, I don’t care that Erdogan in Turkey doesn’t like it. It is in our interest not to have a theocratic lunatic leading Iran, who is actively trying to, and, tragically, succeeding in killing Americans, and so, I think we ought to go down that road.”

Cruz: Trump Avoided Naming Iran Regime Collapse as Objective Because ‘Phrase Regime Change Is Radioactive’

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said that the Trump administration has stopped short of naming collapsing the regime in Iran as an objective, and “I think that’s because, after the Iraq War, the phrase regime change is radioactive.”

After Cruz advocated for arming the Iranian protesters to pursue the collapse of the Iranian regime, host Martha MacCallum asked, “So, how would you go down that road? We haven’t heard much about that since, in the early days — as you just pointed out — there was this push, that looked like regime change was what was going to happen, and we know Israel said they wanted to, essentially, undermine the regime until it collapsed of its own weight. That’s not where we seem to be right now. So, what’s a practical way to arm the people of Iran against their government? It feels like that moment has passed.”

Cruz answered, “Well, we have the capacity to do that. The CIA has done that in other conflicts, where we’ve armed rebels standing up against enemies of America. We have the capacity to get those weapons — and you’re talking small arms. You’re not talking tanks and bazookas, but the ability to fight back against the IRGC. We have that capability. What hasn’t happened yet is making the decision to use that capability. And, listen, I think the Trump administration articulated military objectives, but they held short of saying the objective was regime collapse. And I think that’s because, after the Iraq War, the phrase regime change is radioactive. I understand that. I thought the Iraq War was a mistake. I opposed the Iraq War. President Trump opposed the Iraq War.”

We tried arming the Kurds.  Instead of them transferring the weapons to Iranians as agreed, the Kurds simply kept them for themselves.

Senior figures in Iran's leadership and the IRGC are increasingly using crypto to move large sums out of the country without oversight, Kann reports.

The mechanism relies mainly on Tether's USDT stablecoin, converting funds into liquid dollars and transferring them globally to bypass Western sanctions.

Dozens of IRGC crypto wallets were recently frozen. The U.S. Treasury imposed fresh sanctions yesterday on Iran's shadow banking network and Iran-linked crypto trade, including two Dubai-based shell companies.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Iran lays out 6 demands for US 'behavior correction' before Strait of Hormuz reopens

Iran laid out six demands Saturday for what it called U.S. "behavior correction" before the Strait of Hormuz can reopen, according to the country's state-run IRNA news agency.

Mohammad Baqer Zulqader, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said “until America corrects its behavior, The Strait of Hormuz will not open.”

Zulqader said the U.S. must stop threatening Iran and insulting what he described as the country's sanctities, end military action against Iran and its allies in Lebanon, the Palestinian territories, Yemen and Iraq, and lift the naval blockade.

His remaining demands call for U.S. sea and air forces to withdraw from Iran, compensation for damages from two wars, the removal of sanctions against Iran and the unconditional release of frozen Iranian assets.

The demands come as negotiations over reopening the Strait of Hormuz remain ongoing. Vice President JD Vance told Fox News earlier Saturday that Iranian officials have told the U.S. they have no plans to toll the critical waterway.

Zulqader also said the Supreme National Security Council would maintain its position in both military and diplomatic talks, according to IRNA.
