Former Gov. David Paterson warned New York Democrats could face extinction if they don’t thwart a socialist takeover that’s leaving moderates out to dry.

The warning from Paterson, who also served as the state’s party chairman, comes days after a slate backed by Mayor Zohran Mamdani and the Democratic Socialists of America swept key congressional Democratic primary contests and nearly all state legislative seats.

This is the communist "Feel The Bern" revolution to the socialist "Gore/Kerry/Obama/Biden" revolution to the centrist "Clinton" revolution to the moonbat "George McGovern" revolution.

The Green New Deal / Global Climate Change frauds made everything more expensive for working people because Government constrained the addition of supply that could have moderated inflationary pressures on everything.

Government is the problem; commies believe more Government is the solution.  Back to the urban blight and decay of the 1960s/1970s.  Whenever Dems come to power in DC, they will have the Federal Government backstop and subsidize failed Dem $h!tholes.  Better hope we don't get Dem Congress and Dem President again.

It took Carter to get us Regan and obama and Biden to get us Trump.

It took David Dinkins, the 1970s malaise, and Ford refusing to bail out NYC before NYC elected Giuliani, so there’s still a ways to go before we get to that point again.

That's not going to happen.
At least, not in your lifetime.

As many white Republicans are packing up and moving OUT OF New York state, the population that's left there is only going to become "blue-er".

Really (with tongue halfway in cheek), the only way I see a "Republican" (or any other non-communist) governor being seated in New York is if the state has been militarily conquered by the red states (a la the South in 1865) and a "carpetbagger" Republican governor is "installed" by the victors.

Other than that... ain't happenin'...
