Columbia University faculty give 94% of midterm political donations to the left
A Campus Reform analysis of FEC data found the school’s faculty gave over $575k dollars to Democrats in the midterm election cycle.
One prominent Democratic donor who served in the Obama administration was arrested last year for an alleged hit-and-run involving a bicyclist.

The remaining 6% will be purged.

I forwarded this compelling, factual rebuke by @rangerrebew  to 174 Columbia University journalism professors after I sent all of them messages about their extreme left-wing bias while citing quotes.

Subject: Your Socialist Monopoly

“Public education is a socialist monopoly, a real one.” — Milton Friedman
To every journalism professor and the President of Columbia University, and to the editors and executives of The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, PBS, MSNBC, ABC, and NBC:  [In small groups to avoid spam filters]
For years, you have broadcast a portrait of America so relentlessly bleak, distorted, and self‑loathing that millions around the world would scarcely recognize the country they actually encounter when they visit. And here is the irony you never acknowledge:
International visitors, here in America to watch the World Cup matches, have been stunned – not by America’s supposed “decline”, but by how profoundly your reporting has misrepresented this country. They describe America as friendly, open, energetic, generous, safe, and astonishingly diverse. They praise our food, our culture, our optimism, our humor, and our everyday decency. They marvel at how Americans treat strangers. They leave with affection — not disgust.
Yet you continue to sell a narrative of rot, decline, hatred, and national shame.
Why?
Because for too long, the institutions represented in this letter have been captured by the same ideological monoculture Friedman warned about — a state‑protected, self‑reinforcing, unaccountable monopoly that punishes dissent and rewards only one worldview.
And nowhere is this clearer than in the universities that train the next generation of journalists.
Columbia University — your own faculty has provided the world with unforgettable examples of moral collapse. It was a Columbia professor, Nicholas De Genova, who publicly declared:
“I wish there could be a million Mogadishus.”
A wish for mass death — directed at American soldiers.
At the University of Colorado, Professor Ward Churchill went even further. He did not merely insult the victims of the Twin Towers — he rationalized their murder. In his own words:
“If there was a better, more effective, or in fact any other way of visiting some penalty befitting their participation upon the little Eichmanns inhabiting the sterile sanctuary of the twin towers, I’d really be interested in hearing about it.”

And instead of repudiating this worldview, you have absorbed it. You have normalized it. You have built newsrooms on top of it.

It has been that for nearly 100 years.
I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice. And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.

And one for Hamas for 15 years min.
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.
