Rogan keeps coming back to two main issues that don’t make sense to him based on basic firearms knowledge and ballistics.

There is NO guarantee of exit wound from
Almost ANY bullet including a 30-06. I have seen two deer hit with them and no exit but dropped quickly.
The re sighting is reasonable BUT it is possible to have it back on close enough ESPECIALLY if one practices. Also there are ways to make it far more durable with certain builds and practice
Bottom line the scenario is possible
I have shot pistols and rifles for decades
I have won at shooting championship level with multiple rifles and pistols too.
All I am saying is it is possible
