David Clayton-Thomas didn't just sing with Blood, Sweat & Tears. He gave one of rock's most ambitious bands its unmistakable voice, turning jazz-rock experimentation into something timeless.

With his passing at 84, I take a look back at the music, the man, and the legacy he leaves behind. This isn't simply an obituary. It's a tribute to an artist whose voice still resonates every time those horns come alive.
