If he's waiting until after the fall elections, Iran could well have made and used a nuke by that time. What was bombed may not have been the only places where uranium for nukes were being made.

Making and using a nuke their correct path - they still have the know how, the missile capability, & the warhead to give it a go.

According to Iraqi and regional media outlets, last night’s wave of arrests and crackdowns came after the arrest and confession of Oil Ministry undersecretary Adnan al-Jumaili. Per reports, 47 individuals, including numerous Iraqi politicians, some loyal to former Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani, were arrested in the sweeping crackdown on corruption. 

Per reports from local news outlets, so far, $85 million in money and assets have been seized since the start of the crackdown, with more expected, as an Iraqi government spokesperson has said that necessary actions have been taken to curb corruption in the country. According to regional analysts and subject matter experts, such anti-corruption efforts are common when new leadership takes hold in Iraq.

Analyst Comment:
However, the recent wave of arrests, specifically the scale of said arrests, is not as common, with some outlets characterizing the move as a “systemic purge.”
The arrests come against the backdrop of an increase in both U.S.-Iranian competing interests in Iraq, increasing government pressure on Iranian-backed paramilitary forces subordinate to the Iraqi Armed Forces, and the ongoing tension in the region between the U.S. and Iran.

Key Judgement:

Tehran has deployed a new front on Western social media, including a covert influence campaign to sway Americans and undermine President Donald Trump's push for a nuclear deal, experts warned Sunday.

Following the February U.S. strikes on Iran that decapitated much of Tehran's leadership and the signing of an interim memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Tehran and Washington, the analysts also claim Iranian officials are relying more on digital proxies to project centralized control.

"Iran's leadership now lives on X because it is a decapitated leadership," counterterrorism expert Dr. Omar Mohammed told Fox News Digital.

"The regime has moved its legitimacy contest onto a platform, and once you are fighting there, you optimize for it," Mohammed, of the George Washington Program on Extremism, added.

"There are English, screenshot-ready lines, memeable contempt and civilizational pride. It is adaptation under pressure — an influence operation forced by the fact that the men running Iran can no longer stand at a podium."

After Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed on Feb. 28, the regime's senior leadership was largely eliminated, and the new leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is in hiding. Mohammed said Iran's digital messaging has since become more centralized.

"The coordination between the leadership is visible: You watch the same lines reposted verbatim by the judiciary chief, the vice president and the security council within minutes," the expert explained.

"That is a central media shop pushing copy, not officials independently moved by the same spirit at the same moment. And the register gives it away."

According to Mohammed, the regime's X accounts serve as a manufactured proxy for the leadership vacuum while exploiting political divisions in the United States, a strategy that he says surfaced even more after Trump signed a new peace deal on June 17 in Versailles.

"Tehran is not aiming at the United States as a single entity," Mohammed said.

Blow up their parliament building.  Make them think really hard before they contemplate launching anything.

Their parliament is where the moderate religious fanatics work. Destroy it and kill every last one. Effect on Iran's war effort? None.

Only by taking out the Guardian Council and the Assembly of Experts & their ilk along with the IRGC will have any effect.

Otherwise, its an endless war which will continue until they have ICBMs and nuclear warheads for them. We will know that when they demonstrate on Israel and NYC ... likely, with all this stalling and backpedaling by 47, will be some time next year, then 47 will be forced to step down.
