How someone got to think they’re so special to be in everybody else’s way?

This is definitely a power play. Stop putting up with it.
They don't do that crap in their home countries. They're doing that here to assert dominance.

Thirty years ago, someone would have grabbed that guy by his pantaloons and forcibly moved him out of the way followed by his truck.  Being careful not to tear up the transmission of course.
