I really like the new banner. And I just want to say thank you for continuing to honor the man. He remains my favorite president (even though I never once voted for him).

..hmm.... in comparison to the old banner, I love the new picture of Reagan -- so keep the brown and maybe put a thin bright red border around it, including a quote.

I think BOTH are great! Ain't nothin says we can't cycle through them and a few more as they come along... :shrug:

But then I'm weird that way... all my media machines and portables get a change of wallpaper with the seasons - Always the same mountain scenes Makes for some variation without varying all that much. That's me, being capricious.  :silly:

Yup.  The rest of the color scheme can be easily modified by modifying the css style sheets.

See, it ain't like that out here. Brown or oxblood shitkickers work just as well as black ones. So long as they are clean and like new... That'd be fine. :shrug:

Maybe that's why all the Western and Midwestern folks tend to like the new banner- Leather is still always in style.  happy77

The actual width of the banner is different on everybody's computer screen, so that extra region of brown is necessary.  Some people reading this don't see that at all.  The old banner used mostly plain colors, so we just had to copy the red color on the far right of the Banner image!

Not that you'll hear me because you have me on ignore, but that quote is too long to resolve in the limited space of the banner.

Reagan's my favorite in my lifetime - and definitely the best in my lifetime.

And I never got to vote for him.  I got to vote for Bush I.   :shrug:

If you changed the shield to chrome/silver, maybe it could be used with different colors. - It seems some folks don't like the leather look  :shrug:
