The latest "art" (sick) auction at Christies, New York City, perpetuates stupidity of the rich and pretentious.
The musical equivalent of this artifice is hurling a Steinway grand piano off the top of Half Dome, driving earth movers over brass and woodwind instruments, and smashing violins and violas onto the floor, then burning them.

What a racket!

I have seen better art on rail cars.
