Donald J. Trump 5/24/2026

TEXAS, REMEMBER! Ken Paxton was a GREAT Attorney General, probably the best in the Country. He was also very loyal to your favorite President, ME, as the Dumocrats played their ultimate game of  Weaponization, and failed, BADLY! I LOVE Texas, and WON it all three times, getting, by far, the highest (A Record!) Vote in the History of that Great & Beautiful State. Ken’s opponent was VERY disloyal to me, as President, and didn’t fight hard enough for the desperately needed SAVE AMERICA ACT - VOTER I.D., PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP, NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS (with exceptions for Military, Illness, Disability, or Travel!). What more needs to be said??? Vote for Ken Paxton on Tuesday, HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!!!  President DONALD J. TRUMP

I'd like to see Mr. Paxton win, but I read elsewhere that he's actually trailing Cornyn in the runoff.

Has anyone heard differently?

Texas GOP runoff suddenly looks like a potential wipeout — according to prediction markets

A presidential endorsement has sent challenger Attorney General Ken Paxton’s chances surging online.

The Senate GOP primary runoff in Texas is suddenly shaping up to be a wipeout, according to prediction markets, as Republican voters prepare to choose Tuesday who will face Democrat James Talarico in November.

In what was once a toss-up Senate primary race, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Sen. John Cornyn battled for an endorsement from President Donald Trump. Paxton won that fight, and the shift in markets quickly followed suit.

As of Sunday afternoon, Paxton led incumbent John Cornyn by nearly 90% on the online prediction market Kalshi. And on Polymarket, Paxton had a 96% chance of winning Tuesday’s election.

Where you read that has a problem, Paxton ran away from that prediction by 24% points, putting them in the same category of prediction as that reporterette in Iowa who claimed Harris would beat Trump by a wide margin in Iowa!

OK, I printed out my post above and am chewing on it now.

But will Mr. Paxton see a margin of victory like that against that talarico guy?
I'll reckon the dem-communist candidate starts out of the gate with 40%, even 'way down in Texas. And then may gain at least a little more from there.

Refresh my memory again, please?

I don't expect Paxton to have that kind of margin in the General Election.  Cornyn was a known jerk and turncoat by Republicans,  Talerico can count on Dumocats who will vote for a Gummy Worm if it has a (D) after its name!

I fully expect Ken Paxton to wipe the floor with Talarico. 10 points or better and that's a wipeout in a general election.

It may be tough to get the 30%+ that voted for Cornyn out to vote for Paxton.  Paxton is not the most beloved candidate.  Similar as to what happened to Cruz, as there was a certain group that refused to vote for him.

If that happens in TX, it will happen in other states too, and we may actually grow our majority in the Senate, with fewer RINOs and a new Majority Leader. Oh. To dream!

Since I’m going to be hearing this for the next 6 months as a Texas voter, let me answer the question:  “You would vote for an adulterer over James Talarico? That’s not very Christian.”

Here’s the truth: I would rather vote for almost anyone else who is going to at least advocate for conservative *policies* over a literal heretic who wears my faith like a skin suit, advocates for policies that harm children, endorses immorality and generally harm society.

Ken Paxton has personal baggage. I don’t deny that. But Talarico has plenty too — and he openly mocks God’s law and treats Jesus as a political mascot all while pushing a radical far-left agenda that would be a disaster for my state.

You see, I’m an adult. I do not expect those who are seeking political office to be my moral superiors or even trustworthy. They are tools to be used to do the least amount of damage via policy.

I wish more pastors and men who live godly lives were running. I really do. But the options we get are what they are.

Paxton supports secure borders, law enforcement, lower taxes, unleashing American energy, the Second Amendment, just to name a few.

Talarico supports unlimited abortion, trans-ing children, higher taxes, government-run “healthcare,” and is incredibly comfortable blaspheming the word of God.

I’m not voting for a priest. I’m voting for an imperfect person to represent my interests. That’s how it works.

You’re not going to guilt trip Texans into supporting a looney tunes candidate like Talarico. Paxton will win by 5+.

It’s about policy, not personality.

Talirico made a statement he wanted to celebrate his birthday with his students.  I also found this little jewel about the groomer where he gave his personal cell number to students.  Most school districts in TX would have reprimanded this practice.
