Two suspects are in custody and a third remains at large Sunday afternoon following at least 10 shootings across South Austin that left four people injured, authorities said.

The shelter-in-place order for South Austin has been lifted, but residents in several Manor-area neighborhoods are now being asked to shelter in place as Manor Police Department and multiple law enforcement agencies work to locate the remaining suspect.  ...

The shootings occurred Saturday night through Sunday morning and were concentrated in South Austin. Austin Mayor Kirk Watson and APD Chief Lisa Davis addressed the incidents at a press conference Sunday. Police said there is no known motive and the incidents appear to be random in nature, though several of the shootings involved fire stations being targeted. ...

Fire stations? Why?

Not far from where I grew up.

Austin has sure gone downhill since the libs took it over.

  • The problem with everything is they try and make it better without realizing the old way is fine.

They took over in the 80's and the queers cheered.  White libs said, cool. Then the Keep Austin weird crowd cheered.  It has been down hill ever since.
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.

Yep, now even infecting A&M.

'Keep Aggies Weird' wouldn't cut it.  That happened before the mid 60s when women were not allowed.

I'd think 10 shootings in a weekend in Austin would be a slow weekend...lol.

Austin has sure gone downhill since the libs took it over.

Once sold a VA (Veteran Admin) foreclosure to a lovely Hispanic couple. It was a basic, brown-wrapper townhouse for $105K

After 5 years, they sold it and move to Austin, Texas...and sent me a photo of their new home there.

It was a brand new, single-family, brick-front colonial with 2 car garage...for $215K.

This was obviously before "The libs took over".

  • Well EXCUSE me!
Not fit for society, they should be tried as adults and their feral asses sent to real prison to learn that actions have real consequences and that they aren't the tough guys they the3y thought they were. Actually they should be charged as domestic terrorists.

As well as arresting their parents/guardians who are responsible for their behavior and potentially criminally negligent.

When did it begin to take TWENTY (20) YEARS to execute a convicted prisoner of a capital crime?

As we all know these yutes will go into juvenile detainment until they are 18, then they'll be out scot free.  This is our system....
