Not long ago, at Charlie Kirk's memorial service, I sat listening as speaker after speaker talked openly about faith.

Not performative faith. Not “spirituality.” Not vague moral language carefully engineered to avoid offending modern sensibilities.

Christian faith. Real faith.

The kind that acknowledges man’s depravity, Christ’s sufficiency, and the utter miracle that grace exists at all.

And among those voices was Tucker Carlson.

That’s part of what makes the current version of Tucker Carlson so profoundly disorienting. Because where did that guy go?

This isn’t about disagreement. Lord knows conservatives disagree all the time. I’ve disagreed publicly and privately with friends I deeply respect for decades. That’s healthy. It sharpens people.

This is something different.

So what can we summarize about Tucker?  He's been bought by whom, or is he afraid for his life? Maybe both.  As for Kelley, this is the first that I have heard of her leaning left.

I am sorry, bur the gloss is off the rose for me in Arizona.  TPUSA is endorsing a candidate in my State Legislature that is a convicted felon in other states, and he is likely to win.  I don't want a criminal representing me, but TPUSA wants him!

This is my Arizona District. I'm about through with the Republican Party here!  And I was 1st Vice Chair for the Party a couple years ago.  Now we're going to elect a Felon as Representative and I am powerless to stop it....

Like I said, to quite a bit of flak, after Kirk was shot, there was always something that never sat right with me about that organization. Now, whether the decapitation of its leader played a role in that, and whether they'd be making such endorsements if Kirk were still alive, we may never know.

I haven't been able to figure out what is going on with Tucker. It's the oddest thing I've ever seen. Are we watching someone lose his marbles? Did he hide all this weird flip-flopping from us for ALL THESE YEARS? If so, how? I'm guessing no one could have predicted his downward spiral.

Megyn? Meh. I don't think of her as having any kind of actual core values that govern her life or her often stupid tongue. She seems like a person who needs to glom on to someone or some cause for the sake of belonging.

I used to hold both of these individuals in high esteem.

I liked her quite a bit, even after the "blood from wherever" business.  It's the picking at nits that bugs me, like she's taking her queues from the Krassestein twins.

What I remember about her moderating a debate was the softball question about "New York Values"... that let Trump twist it into something about hating the NY people instead of their commie/liberal values (that we see in full display today, liberal values Trump said he supported). Then she topped it off with an after debate interview with Cruz where she played dumb about his commercial again carrying water for Trump.

Never trusted her again... because she knew exactly what she was doing.
