Climate pseudoscience debunked: Livestock methane fears are baseless

Policymakers are demanding that farmers scale back meat production, reengineer agricultural systems, and burden consumers with higher grocery bills to prevent a fabricated climate catastrophe. This is fearmongering based on false claims that methane emitted as a byproduct of livestock digestion contributes significantly to allegedly dangerous atmospheric warming.

Happily, the pseudoscience of this campaign against ruminants — mainly cattle and sheep — is refuted in a paper published by the CO2 Coalition, Fairfax, Virginia. Even if all 1.6 billion of Earth’s cattle were killed, the amount of warming averted would be an immeasurably small 0.04 degrees Celsius, according to the paper. The temperature reduction from killing all 1.3 billion sheep would be 10 times smaller. Even more absurdly, New Zealand’s national goal of reducing cattle and sheep emissions would affect the temperature by no more than 0.000008 degrees Celsius. That is eight one-millionths of a degree.

Even these tiny amounts would be made smaller by the emissions of wild ruminants, such as deer and termites, replacing domesticated animals as agricultural lands reverted to forests and grasslands.

It expecting too much to think that Liberals have even a single teaspoon of common sense.

For thousands of years of history, there were millions of buffalo in America. They completely covered what are now called States.
There were so many they were not countable. Historical depictions describe a single herd moving by an observer for days.

Cattle today would be a very small percentage of what once was. The world did not end back then and it will not end now.
Sometimes, the enemy of my enemy, is also my enemy.
Islam sanitizes oppression. Islam rebrands cruelty as culture, and expects applause from Liberal fools for their Islamic progressivism.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists

I've often thought about the buffalo and why they are omitted from the official narrative.

Elephants and polar bears fart, too.  Why do they get a free pass to pass gas?  Methane is methane.  By anti-Methane logic, any living animal that farts, uncluding humans, must be eliminated from this Planet.  Is there such as thing as virtuous methane or clean methane?  No, but the Dems will make some flatulence more equal than the rest.

This is such ridiculous BS. Large ungulates are a part of every land-based eco-system. As the article barely touches upon, if you remove the domesticated large ungulates, wild large ungulates would soon replace them. Or the land would go wanting.

Here's a shaker  for you: Look into reclamation efforts to recover lands abused by farming practices in the south and the west. Abandoned farms, sometimes so stripped of topsoil that only bramble will grow there...

The MAIN thing being used to replace that deep topsoil those lands were once famous for is... Wait for it... CATTLE.

YUP. You want to reclaim those lands, remove the bramble with heavy machinery, plant a cover crop with fast-growing grasses, and then begin hay-bombing that land to feed cattle. The cattle pock mark the land during rain - each hoof print (and there are millions) retains water that does not run off, improving water retention. The hay not eaten contains a seed bank that the cows stomp in, and provides fertilization that stays in place to decay... The hay that is eaten also contains a seed bank, one that passes through the cow's digestive tract, and also provides the best fertilizer known to man.

Harrow the land, keep the tops cut on the weeds, and let the cows do what they do. It's amazing. PH will automatically adjust to am optimal balance perfectly designed for grassland in but a few years... Most weeds eventually die back because the PH goes down... Because of cow shit. Properly managed, the land will go back to building topsoil in as little as five years.

It is a miracle straight from God.
Because of cows.

These people are idiots.

Scientists, like all discoverers of truth, have always asked, "What?” “How?” “Why?” “What if?” and “Why not?” Questioning science is science.
