Six People Found Dead in Union Pacific Boxcar in Texas Believed to be Illegal Aliens From Mexico and Honduras

The six people found dead inside a Union Pacific boxcar in Laredo, Texas, on Sunday are believed to be illegal aliens from Mexico and Honduras.

According to the Laredo Police Department, a Union Pacific employee discovered at least six dead bodies in the cargo train car.

Temperatures soared into the upper 90s in Laredo, Texas, on Sunday.

Laredo, Texas, borders Mexico and has one of the largest ports of entry in the US.

The six people died of hyperthermia, or heat stroke.

The deaths are being investigated as part of a human smuggling operation.

Lawyers for families of the dead will sue the U.P., claiming that there was no way to unlatch the boxcar door from the inside...

(that's actually correct, there IS NO way to do that, that I ever saw on the RR...)

Sad.  However, they shouldn't have been in that boxcar to begin with. There are ways to come into this country legally.

I believe the number coming in is quite minimal.  Zero - I don't think so, but minimal. Certainly we don't see the caravans and the mass migration that we used to, nor the human trafficking.

As long as there's money in smuggling people, drugs and weapons in, there will always be illegals getting into this country.
