Watchdog Warns SPLC’s ‘Far-Left’ Ideology Has Been Embedded In K-12 Classrooms Across America

The controversial Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is facing renewed scrutiny after a new watchdog report revealed the group’s activist curriculum has been embedded in school systems across more than 40 states, exposing young children to radical left-wing ideology under the banner of “social justice” education.
The report comes as the Alabama-based organization is also battling explosive federal fraud charges tied to an alleged covert informant operation involving extremist groups.
According to education watchdog Defending Education, SPLC’s school-focused program “Learning for Justice,” formerly known as “Teaching Tolerance,” has quietly spread through at least 169 school districts in 42 states and Washington, D.C.
Critics say the curriculum pushes divisive identity politics into classrooms as early as kindergarten.
