Well, I didn't see any "rushing" in the video, and the ChiCom photographer was just politely shooed away after a few seconds of taking pics of Trump. If they can't do it with managing the stage, they can do a lot with camera angles.
Shoot from below to make someone look taller, and put the tallest in the foreground.
A lot can be done to 'artistically' distort the picture.

Well, I've thought a few time that his 'age' is setting in and IMO Trump has perhaps not out and out lied, but his misled us on a few things.

Neither China nor Iran can be trusted and Trump of all people should know this, yet some of his 'deals' I think are questionable.

For Trump it's always a popularity contest, like that embarrassing "applaud for who you like best" moment the other day with Vance and Rubio. Rubio is obviously a more interesting guy and apparently popular with the press corps behind the scenes, as well as rolling with those hilarious "job of the day" memes. Vance on the other hand is uncomfortably close with the nutcases like Tucker Carlson who have turned on Trump, so he's now got their fleas. And then he didn't achieve much at all in Pakistan with the Iranians, and we haven't heard too much from his fraud squad lately either.

So I think Rubio is definitely ahead in Trump's media-obsessed mind.

Rubio's definitely ahead in Trump's mind. JD's been sidelined since he cautioned the President about war with Iran. Evrryone in the room quickly agreed with Trump. JD advised not to rush the decision and presented well thought-out reasoning, including the promises both made during the campaign.

But, it's still early. The great and powerful Trump could change his support after he's reminded Americans don't elect 5'6" tall President's.

Should SCOTUS rule on birthright citizenship requiring at least one parent to be a citizen of the U.S. in order to be a natural born citizen, Rubio is going to run into some problems. Neither of his parents were citizens of the U.S. at the time of his birth. He is an anchor baby. Therefore he cannot be President nor VP.
