Pete Hegseth Has Thoughts About Sen. Mark Kelly 'Blabbing on TV' About Supposed Classified Iran Info
Doug P.  | 8:54 PM on May 10, 2026

Democrat Sen. Mark Kelly, of "seditious six" infamy, was on CBS News' Face the Nation program Sunday morning and claimed to have classified information about U.S. weapon stockpiles running low. In short it sounds like Kelly was trying to provide fodder for another hit piece from The Atlantic or maybe the New York Times.

Here's what Kelly had to say about the operation in Iran:

"He said the Tomahawks, ATACMS, SM-3, THAAD rounds, Patriot rounds, so those interceptor rounds to defend ourselves have been hit hard. He says it'll take years to replenish those stockpiles, which could affect a hypothetical US conflict with China."

Are there ever any Democrats in Congress (besides John Fetterman) who don't sound like they're rooting for the Iranian regime?

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth responded this way:

 Excerpt from the article:

Senator Mark Kelly just did something that would get any normal person in serious trouble — he went on national television and spilled details from a classified Pentagon briefing about America’s depleted munitions stockpiles.

On CBS’s Face the Nation, Kelly told host Margaret Brennan that after receiving a detailed classified briefing on the impact of U.S. strikes against Iran, he was “shocked” by how deeply we’ve dipped into our weapons reserves. He specifically named Tomahawk missiles, ATACMS, SM-3s, THAAD rounds, and Patriot interceptors, claiming it will take “years” to replenish them and that this makes America less safe in a potential conflict with China.

Lock the traitor up and send him to GITMO.

He just let our enemies worldwide know that our stockpiles are low, that is, if that's the truth, but it really doesn't matter if it's true or not if it was classified then he needs to be held accountable.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
Even if it isn't the truth, it would entice enemies to take advantage of a believed shortage, and engage in conflict. His statements are eliminating the deterrent of having a full inventory.

Time for him to put a sock in it.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

At the very least, he should be kicked off the Intelligence Committee and the Armed Services Committee.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

I handled Top Secret information only a handful of times in my military career.

Every time I did, I remember thinking to myself "Why is this classified?  Everybody suspects this is true, it's just common sense..."

But then I remembered that the reason the data was classified was so that no one in the know would or could ever confirm or deny whether "common sense" suspicions were actually true.

THAT is the power of security classifications.

My point is this: it does not matter whether or not anyone has a common sense suspicion that stores of precision munitions might be depleted.  When Kelly officially verified that suspicion at the individual munition level, he created a grave breach of national security.

Prosecute this traitor.  Remember when some submariner went to the brig because he posted a picture from the inside of a sub?  This is far worse.

Prosecute.

Senator Mark Kelly (D-Sedition) is a malodorous ball of slime for many reasons, but most of all because of the way he deliberately harms our nation while clinging to deceitful shreds of plausible deniability to cover his rancid slime trails.

Two examples:

1. SEDITION.

-PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY: “All I did was remind service members of their duty to not follow unlawful orders."

-REALITY: Kelly encouraged U.S. military members to refuse to follow lawful orders they disagree with politically by pretending they are “unlawful orders.”

2. UNLAWFULLY REVEALING CLASSIFIED INFORMATION.

-PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY: “All I did was repeat what Secretary Hegseth said in a public hearing.”

-REALITY: Hegseth made generic allusions publicly about the industrial base’s ability to replenish stocks of precision munitions.  What Hegseth said was unclassified.  Kelly, OTOH, went into specifics regarding stockpiles of specific munitions, listing them by name.  More importantly, he made clear that the information he was stating publicly came from a CLASSIFIED briefing.  One of the keys to handling classified info is to never confirm or deny the accuracy of the info if it is ever discussed in a non-classified forum.  Kelly specifically CONFIRMED classified information.  This is a grotesque OPSEC breach.

I find Kelly so morally objectionable because of this sleaze ball behavior.  He knows EXACTLY what he is doing, and he knows his braindead Democrat goon enablers will en masse repeat his plausible deniability lies to protect him.

Kelly is one of the most disgusting creatures ever to crawl out of the primordial ooze of the D.C. Swamp.

DISGUSTING.
