Pete Buttigieg: Candidate Who Gets the Most Votes Should Be President

The candidate who receives the most votes should be President of the United States, former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said during a town hall event in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

“One thing that would make a huge difference is if we selected our president by letting the person who got the most votes actually take the office instead of the national Electoral College,” Buttigieg said during the town hall, deeming it a “really good idea” that he believes would be better for America.

“It would be a really good idea, because then any Democrat wanting to be president would have to campaign in Oklahoma, by the way, any Republican would have to campaign in Brooklyn. That would be good for our democracy,” he said.

The person who receives the most (Electoral) votes already gets elected.

If Pothole Pete wants to change that, then Amend the US Constitution.  That's what a nation of laws would do.

Yeah... makes sense to me.

We already have Amendments called "Prohibition", "Voting Rights", and "Search and Seizure".

He just wants the "D.U.Y.A." Act added to that.

He's only saying that because they're fixing to use the 20 million illegals as voters, and then they have all those dead and imaginary voters carried on the rolls, too.

Problem for the Dems is, they are mostly concentrated in blue states and 'sanctuary' cities, and the electoral college limits that effect.
