Convicted Murderer Arrested for Sending Death Threat to ICE Director
Federal authorities arrested a cold-blooded killer accused of sending a death threat to the outgoing head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) just released details about an investigation into Daniel Barber, a U.S. citizen who was recently taken into custody in San Francisco.
Barber has a prior conviction for murder and robbery with intent to cause bodily harm in 1990 and arrests for burglary, battery, and vehicle theft.
On June 6, 2025, Barber allegedly wrote a disturbing email to acting ICE director Todd Lyons.
DHS published a screenshot of the email, which was sent from a user called “Brutally Goofy Buddha.”
