Ted Cruz Introduces King Charles to His Daughters — The Wholesome Moment Doesn’t Go Quite as Expecte

Senator Ted Cruz was meeting King Charles III and did the natural dad thing — he brought his two daughters over to say hello. What started as a nice, normal introduction turned into an awkward but hilarious moment when the King dropped a classic dry British joke on them.

The King basically teased that the girls were going to flunk their exams because they were out with their dad instead of studying. Ted looked caught off guard for a second, then jumped in laughing and insisted they really are studying right now.


This is why family introductions should never happen with cameras and a king in the same room.
