Imagine that, comrades, using words to re-shape thought, opinion, and priorities.

We can't wait for the data to be collected, analyzed, and reviewed ... because we'll be dead by then.

We'll let the "science", the "models", and the "data" catch up after we've perpetrated mass fraud upon the populace.

Our latest computer model indicates that space alien invasion is imminent ...

... who will be left to protect the children?
"Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it’s entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end." - Alan Simpson, Frontline Video Interview

IMHO, "Climate Change" and "Global Warming" are still political buzzwords.

I don’t owe tolerance to people who disagree with my existence.
I will NOT comply.

Space Invaders was one of the very first 'video games' that game out.  It's amazing how realistic video games are these days (and its been awhile since I've seen the grands playing).  Innocent games of yesteryear vs. disturbing games of today.  We've gone from Super Mario and Pac Man, to violent video games that focus on intense, visceral combat and dark horror.  Even with a warning for 'Adults Only' and 'Mature' on the label, they still are pretty darn violent for people to be playing.  They certainly don't help with individuals who are already disturbed to begin with.
Live in  harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

Wolfenstein, Quake and Duke Nukem were the last games I played, and they were indeed graphic and dark!  I think the move to 3D, character perspective marked the beginning of that shift....
