The SPLC Was One Giant Fraud

Daniel Greenfield

Fourteen years ago, the Southern Poverty Law Center named me a hate group of one. The honor wasn’t mine alone, I shared it with a sign outside a bar and a brand of gun oil.

What was behind the SPLC’s sloppy hate group designation of one man, a bar sign and other random items was its obsession with manufacturing a constant rise in ‘hate groups.’

Year after year, the SPLC would issue reports claiming that hate groups were increasing in number, and then fundraise off the urgent threat that they had invented.

I caught them doing it time and time again.

In 2017, the SPLC issued a report claiming that the “number of anti-Muslim hate groups tripled since 2015”. How did the leftist group arrive at this number? It listed Act for America, a patriotic organization started by a Christian refugee from Islamic persecution, as one group in 2015.

SPLC where the C stands  for Con.

It was one giant money-laundering operation for the Democrat Party.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

The SPLC proved that there was such a shortage of racism in America they had to spend Millions to create it!  The Democrats are in a full panic trying to claim giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to creeps like Nick Fuentes was just "infiltration."  Chuck Schumer and Jessica Tarlov are desperately banging that drum and getting shot to pieces for that on X.

She still tries that on FNC's "The Five," which gives Gutfeld and Watters no end of amusement!

Yep.
They basically tried to set the narrative of rural, white, misogynist, racist, antisemitic, uneducated, white males conspiring to overthrow the government because of the profile they constructed, ready at the drop of a hat to engage in domestic terrorism.
It was almost completely fiction, in so many ways.

But for every million people who have their stuff together, there are always a few who can be goaded (and paid) enough to play the part while increasing a sense of self-importance, and those make headlines...all according to plan.
They spent decades selling that same narrative to three letter agencies and acting as experts in front of Congress, while playing their well-meaning donors for suckers.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
