President Donald Trump lashed out at the media's coverage of the war in Iran on Monday, saying certain major outlets are constantly spinning developments in Tehran's favor.

Trump made the statement in a post on his Truth Social account, arguing the media has gone "absolutely crazy."

"If Iran surrenders, admits their Navy is gone and resting at the bottom of the sea, and their Air Force is no longer with us, and if their entire Military walks out of Tehran, weapons dropped and hands held high, each shouting 'I surrender, I surrender' while wildly waving the representative White Flag, and if their entire remaining Leadership signs all necessary 'Documents of Surrender,' and admit their defeat to the great power and force of the magnificent U.S.A., The Failing New York Times, The China Street Journal (WSJ!), Corrupt and now Irrelevant CNN, and all other members of the Fake News Media, will headline that Iran had a Masterful and Brilliant Victory over The United States of America, it wasn’t even close," Trump wrote.

"The Dumacrats and Media have totally lost their way. They have gone absolutely CRAZY!" he added.

There are ships stuck in the gulf which have been there for a very long time, very many months. They are out of food and water. Trump has stranded them there even longer. There are dissidents being rounded up, tortured, and murdered every single day. Every day Trump stalls and postpones costs the lives of innocent patriotic people in Iran.

Plus, there is an issue of public/international will and public support. The more Trump wavers and dithers, the more he loses public confidence in what he is doing.

The longer Trump delays and postpones any eventual attack, the stronger and more entrenched Iran gets. The more missiles Iran has, the more they will damage and kill Israelis and ALL their neighbors.

Yes the targeting of any particular missile hole has been taken into account by the IRGC. They just make a new one, if the old one cannot be dug out.

I have no idea who drew up the online documents - its too far back. The US has repeatedly targeted these sites, but they are repaired within hours of a strike, according to DOW information released some time ago. If that is not good enough for you I don't know what to more to say. Else you are just being a contrarian.

“Based on my respect for the above mentioned Leaders, I have instructed Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, The Chairman of The Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Daniel Caine, and The United States Military, that we will NOT be doing the scheduled attack of Iran tomorrow, but have further instructed them to be prepared to go forward with a full, large scale assault of Iran, on a moment’s notice, in the event that an acceptable Deal is not reached,” he added.

Pezeshkian says dialogue with Washington 'does not mean surrender'

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Monday that any talks with Washington do not signal surrender by the regime.

"Dialogue does not mean surrender," Pezeshkian said in a post shared on X.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran enters into dialogue with dignity, authority, and the preservation of the nation's rights, and under no circumstances will it retreat from the legal rights of the people and the country," he said.

"We will serve the people with logic and with all our might, to the end, and safeguard the interests and honor of Iran," Pezeshkian added.

His remarks came ahead of President Donald Trump saying he had called off a planned strike on Iran on Tuesday after an appeal from Arab leaders.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump also warned he had instructed the U.S. military to be prepared to launch a “full, large-scale assault of Iran, on a moment’s notice, in the event that an acceptable Deal is not reached.”

Well its TACO Tuesday and Let's Make a Deal and Peace in Out Time day all rolled into one grand celebration ... for Iran.

47 was just out touting how under JoeB the US was the laughing stock of the world and the military in disarray. Now he's got a strong military but he used it to make the US, once again, a laughing stock.

Worse, he's allowing a minor military power to become a major military power, allowing them to declare victory over the Great Satan, as their stock rises in the ME and in most of the world.

No matter what piece of Big Beautiful paper, no matter the clauses, the dotted 'Is', sooner or later, Iran will have nuclear weapons, warheads, and the means to deliver them anywhere in the world.

And we know they will deliver them, at the right moment, to achieve their religious dream of bringing all humans to their Paradise.

This would be an ideal time to look into and begin construction of your own personal [ or perhaps neighborhood ] bunker, hardened to withstand a nuclear attack, stocked with years of food and water, as well as CO2 scrubbers, among other necessities.

While that is being constructed, learn how to hunt, fish, swim. Learn how people 2000-3000 years ago survived, as sooner or later, no matter how many guns and how much ammo one has, they will run out.

Its not so much what 47 is doing in the Present, but what will be the result in the Future that we all need to contemplate and find a way through.

President Donald Trump said Monday he is delaying a planned military strike on Iran after Gulf allies urged him to give negotiations more time, saying there is a “very good chance” of reaching a deal to end the war without renewed U.S. attacks.

"We were getting ready to do a very major attack [Tuesday], and I put it off for a little while — hopefully maybe forever," Trump said, "because we've had very big discussions with Iran, and we'll see what they amount to."

"There seems to be a very good chance that they can work something out,” Trump told reporters at the White House. “If we can do that without bombing the hell out of them, I’d be very happy.”

The announcement marked the latest shift in Trump’s handling of the fragile ceasefire reached in mid-April. For weeks, the president has warned Iran that fighting could resume if it did not accept a deal, while repeatedly setting deadlines and then backing away from them.

Over the weekend, Trump warned that “the Clock is Ticking” and said Iran needed to move “FAST, or there won’t be anything left of them.”

Trump first disclosed the pause in a social media post Monday, saying he had ordered the U.S. military to be ready “to go forward with a full, large scale assault of Iran, on a moment’s notice” if an acceptable deal is not reached.

He later told reporters that Gulf allies, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, asked him to delay the strike by two to three days because they believe talks with Iran are close to producing an agreement.

Trump called the delay a “very positive development,” though he acknowledged past moments when diplomacy appeared close to succeeding before collapsing.

“But this is a little bit different,” Trump said.
