Gavin Newsom has been busted in one of the most blatant self-dealing grifts in recent memory.
The California governor’s political action committee spent a staggering $1.5 million to purchase 67,000 copies of his own book. Those self-purchases made up roughly **two-thirds** of the book’s total sales — around 97,400 copies overall.
He then turned around and used those artificially inflated sales numbers to beg for even more donations.
You cannot make this stuff up.
