Classic read is this is a crime of extreme deep seated anger, with a desire to dominate (because rape isn't about sex, it's about power). Either that or he gets turned on by bleeding mutilated white women.
Anyone that angry at (white) women has a serious problem.
I'd be looking throughout any area that guy has traveled for similar victims and M.O., just because he doesn't seem like the type who would stop with just one, unless she is his first. And yes, fry that one.
Bath Salts perps usually stripped off their clothes because they were literally overheating, and commonly tried to eat their victims (at least one of whom died because his face was nearly chewed off before anyone could intervene). Unless there is more info not given, this doesn't fit that profile.
