Horrible affliction.

My mother-in-law died of pancreatic cancer almost three years ago, and her condition with the spreading tumors was nearly the same as Sasse's.  It's just awful!

I wouldn't be surprised if  he's enduring this not just because it may extend his life, but because it may help countless other cancer patients down the road.

That's what pancreatic cancer does.  It spreads all over and just eats its victims up from the inside out.
