Rep. Shomari Figures (D-AL) was left scrambling after a town hall attempt to demonstrate that voter ID laws “disenfranchise” Americans appeared to collapse in real time.

The Alabama Democrat has been outspoken in opposing the SAVE America Act, with mandates vote ID.

During a town hall event, Figures tried to make his case directly to constituents.

However, the response severely undercut his argument.

During the event, Figures asked attendees to raise their hands if they did not have a valid ID.

He was aiming to show how voter ID requirements could exclude voters.

About the only thing you can do without an ID is something illegal, which further mocks their narrative.
