The "Lexington and Concord moment" was only possible arising within a community of white Christian paternalistic males of Euro heritage.
Without those qualities and ethnic characteristics, it would not have happened.

I think Mr. Trump's prediction is going to fall by the wayside, as did his previous ones.
The war will not be "over" when HE says it is.
It will be, when the iranians stop firing missiles and (after a set number of days) sue for a settlement.
Even then, so long as the mullahs (and republican guards who support those mullahs) remain in power, I sense they will view this as more of a "hudna" than anything else. If you don't know what that term means, look it up.
I will consider "victory" as being within reach when we've occupied Kharg Island, and also when we've landed and secured the iranian shoreline 100 miles on either side of the Straits of Hormuz.
It will take that much.
