Minnesota governor tells rally participants Somali residents will remain “seen, heard, valued, and loved”

By yourNEWS Media Newsroom

Tim Walz said Saturday that his administration would “never leave the side” of Somali residents in Minnesota during remarks at a “No Kings” protest in Minneapolis, according to a report by Mediaite.

Addressing the crowd, Walz described the Somali community as “seen, heard, valued, and loved,” and pledged continued support.

“I will add a special, a special thank you, and a special acknowledgement that we will never leave the side of our Somali Minnesotans,” Walz said. “Here’s our pledge to you, our Somali Minnesotans: your great-grandchildren will still be here when that orange clown is in the dustbin of history.”

The remarks were delivered as part of a larger demonstration held in Minneapolis, where participants gathered for the “No Kings” protest.

But not Americans, I guess.  Does that mean if Somalis become Americans, he will no longer support them?
