Where Are the Houthis?

Where Are the Houthis?
The War Isn’t Where You’re Looking.

The Last Wire

Everyone’s watching Iran and the Strait of Hormuz.

But down at the southern edge of the Red Sea sits Bab el-Mandeb... one of the most critical trade chokepoints on the planet.

And the Houthis control that neighborhood.

They haven’t acted. Not yet.

That’s not weakness. That’s positioning.

If they move, global shipping doesn’t just feel it — it chokes.

Read on at The Last Wire

Are they staying out of it… or waiting to hit at the worst possible moment?

They are waiting for the US to leave or for the Strait of Hormuz to be secured.

Once they Strait of Hormuz is secured, the Houthis will extend the havoc on world energy markets by closing another choke point for the transit of oil from the Mideast to Europe.

… which will then choke the Malacca Strait and reroute all trade, and blow up shipping costs all to Hell.

There must be a plan in place for when they jump in.

I'd say bomb the Houthis back to the stone age, but they are already there.  But their stock of missiles is probably smaller than Iran's.

They have to do very little to shut down and force reroutes from their position at Bab el-Mandeb.

PS. Open a second front and wave whatever chance we thought the GOP had for midterms buh-bye.

We'll see if the Houthis are as suicidal as the Iranians are.  That's not a "given."

Kill them all while we have the assets in the region.

Thanks, but no savant here. Just time to research and a damned near obsessive drive to shove my opinions down everyone’s throats.

It’s been a learning curve with the images. There’s one tomorrow that I’ve been working on all day (here and there), between doctor’s appointments and the Early Bird special at the Sunrise Diner in Zephyrhills.

My wife is beginning to label it an “obsession”, so that’s a problem. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ll tell you how obsessed I am

I see this, and I see a map of a false flag operation.

It made absolutely no sense.

@Luis Gonzalez

Are you of a mind that the attack on Diego Garcia was "staged" to look like Iran has reached 4000km distance?

I don’t understand it as explained, and that bothers me.

What exactly did Iran expect to gain from revealing a secret so well kept, for such a long time?

It certainly benefits us, insofar as convincing nations that didn’t wish to get involved to reassess their positioning.

PS. Hitting Diego-Garcia wouldn’t involve NATO. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Someone told them that the previous bombings were done by the low level firm of F-18 & Co. But any further bombing action would be done by the firm of Buff, Bone & Spirit.
