Iranian authorities are urging young people, students, artists, athletes, and volunteer groups to form “human chains” around power plants across the country just hours before President Donald Trump’s deadline for a deal expires, effectively gathering civilians at infrastructure sites the United States has explicitly threatened to strike.


The campaign, promoted through Iran’s Ministry of Sports and Youth, is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday local time — roughly 13 hours before Trump’s 8 p.m. Eastern deadline — and has been branded “Human Chain of Iran’s Youth for a Bright Future.”


Deputy Youth Affairs Minister Alireza Rahimi claimed the initiative came from the bottom up, saying “a number of university youth, young artists, and youth organisations” had proposed forming a “human ring or human chain” around the country’s power plants.

Rahimi said the campaign is intended to symbolize “the youth’s commitment to protecting the country’s infrastructure and building a bright future,” while also protesting what he called attacks on public infrastructure as a “war crime.”

US official? That could be Bernie Sanders. Or Melania. Or an intern at the Department of Agriculture.

Donald Trump said Iran's entire 'civilization will die tonight' after the Islamic regime rejected his peace demands as the clock ticks down toward the President's deadline to unleash 'hell' on the country.

Trump told his followers on Truth Social: 'A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.'

The President's deadline is set to expire by 8pm ET on Tuesday.

If someone is in proximity to a target, they are collateral damage.  If possible, use ordinance that will leave no survivors, and better yet, no human remains.

The last thing we need is the Press, sympathetic to our enemies, weeping over injured or dead human shields.

State Department instructs all Americans in Bahrain to shelter in place

The U.S. State Department has instructed all Americans in Bahrain to shelter in place on Tuesday amid the war with Iran.

The U.S. Embassy in Bahrain's capital of Manama announced the recommendation in a Tuesday statement. The State Department has made similar announcements for Americans in countries throughout the Middle East as the war against Iran continues to escalate.

"The U.S. Embassy in Manama has directed all U.S. government employees to shelter in place. We recommend all Americans in Bahrain do the same until further notice. To the extent possible, remain in a secure structure, and stay away from windows," the embassy wrote in a statement.

"We are monitoring the situation in the Middle East closely and will keep you updated so you can make decisions about your safety. If you want to leave the Middle East, the U.S. government is ready to assist by providing you the latest information about the departure options available," the statement said.

"President Trump, Secretary of State Rubio, and the Department of State have no higher priority than the safety and security of American citizens," the statement continued.

Rescued US airmen are recovering at medical base in Germany, awaiting transfer to US: sources

The pilot and weapons systems officer who were rescued from Iran after their F-15E was shot down have now been transferred to a U.S. military base in Germany, two U.S. officials told Fox News on Tuesday.

Both airmen are now in Landstuhl, the U.S. military’s premier medical facility in Germany near Ramstein Air Base.

The officials say the pair are being prepared for a medical flight to the U.S.

The pilot has no major injuries, but the WSO has injuries to his elbow and back as well as a concussion. He is expected to recover, however, the officials said.

So @cato potatoe -- knowing that Iran was two weeks away from nukes, what do you think President Trump should have done?  Iran refuses to negotiate, they have killed thousands of protesters.  We have put up with countless attacks in various different ways for 47 years.  They have been quite vocal about bringing death to America.  They have NOT kept agreements about forming nukes, they wouldn't let our inspectors in.  Obammy turned around and gave them money allowing them to work on building nukes and railways for bombs, Kerry made 'agreements' with them to which they didn't adhere to.

SO ..... it is very unfortunate.  Trump and others have tried negotiations.  They refuse.  They keep bombing their neighbors and murdering their citizenry.

They way I see it is, it's either them or us. Who is going to destroy who first?  Can they reach us with their nukes?  We don't know, but we have found out that they can reach Paris or London ..... so again .... what would you have Trump do?? Sit back and wait for them to destroy us.  They have made threats against us and our infrastructure. Their threats indicate that they can possibly have nukes.  So again .... what is your solution???
