President Trump vowed to hunt down and jail the leaker who revealed that U.S. forces could not initially reach the second American crew member of an F-15 fighter jet shot down over Iran.

Speaking in the White House briefing room on Monday, a clearly perturbed Commander in Chief declared that the media's disclosure tipped off Tehran and directly endangered the airman’s life. Not to mention the lives of hundreds of troops searching for the missing crew member.

“We’re looking very hard to find that leaker,” he said. “They basically said that we have one, and there’s somebody missing. Well, [Iran] didn’t know there was somebody missing until this leaker gave the information.”

The President indicated he would pressure the media outlet that published the story to reveal their sources.

“We think we’ll be able to find it out,” Trump continued. “Because we’re going to go to the media company that released it, and we’re going to say, ‘National security. Give it up or go to jail.’”

The leak, first reported by Israel’s Channel 12 and quickly picked up by U.S. outlets including Axios and the Washington Post, came as the wounded second crew member was fighting for his life behind enemy lines.

The information prompted a race between our military heroes and the terrorist regime.

And yeah, his equally worthless Secretary of State Christopher Warren was pushing for a diplomacy only resolution. 

Delta Force founder Charlie Beckwith recalled in his book that when he was briefing Carter on the Eagle Claw plan, Warren actually asked him if his operators were going to shoot the Iranian guards in their arms and legs.  Appalled by Warren's naivety and stupidity, Beckwith told him, no, that his men were going to double-tap any Iranian who got in their way right between the eyes.  Warren shut up after that, but his weak mindset reflected everything that was wrong with the Carter Administration.

I think NATO is over. It is not that Trump is pulling the U.S. out of NATO. It is more accurate to say that Western Europe has dissolved NATO on their own. Europe essentially in every functional practical way, withdrew themselves from NATO.

Accurate.  Not participating in the war is one thing, albeit aggravating, but backstabbing the U.S. and actively impeding military combat and logistical operations is a whole different ball game.

NATO's done once Trump is finished with Iran.

Even in desert climates there are bridges.  Iran is a highly complex area geologically, so there are mountains and it's pretty rugged.  I'd guess there are bridges everywhere, not necessarily over flowing streams though.

What isn't being reported IIRC Iran has threatened that they are going to do something that the world has never seen. Someone mentioned that it is probable that Iran has at least one nuke (if not more).

So .... it's a race to see who pulls the 'trigger' first.

One thing is for certain and I believe Iran now knows for sure, Trump is NOT bluffing.  He's given them ample warning and time.

Iran is rapidly restoring its missile bunkers to working order just hours after they are pounded by US and Israeli strikes, according to fresh intelligence assessments.

The White House has pointed to a drop in Iranian drone and missile launches since the conflict erupted as evidence that Tehran's strike capabilities are being crippled.

But a newly published US intelligence report cited by The New York Times suggests otherwise, indicating the regime still possesses a substantial arsenal and is swiftly repairing damaged sites. 

Some of these massive missile bunkers are buried deep within granite mountains that can withstand crushing pressures far beyond those that conventional construction materials can withstand.

This material puts up the toughest barrier possible for even the most powerful American bunker-busting bomb – the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator.

One of these fortresses, the Yazd missile base, is thought to possess an automated rail system that runs through tunnels linking assembly areas, storage depots, and multiple concealed exits cut into different faces of the mountain.

In similar underground missile cities seen in Iranian propaganda videos, launchers are moved around rapidly on lorries, rolled out to fire, and withdrawn back underground behind heavy armoured doors in the blink of an eye.

Despite weeks of relentless US-Israeli strikes on its facilities, Iran is somehow still able to unleash its hidden arsenal of rockets and drones at targets across the Middle East.

There is 7 1/2 hours difference between local time in Iran and Washington D.C., which reflects the difference in daylight hours in the respective locations.

Having worked across just two hours' difference, that would play heck with interfacing with the 9-5 D.C. set and being on top of what's happening over in Iran.
