However, after what is being called the 'most daring' Special Forces rescue operation in US history, he is now safely out of Iran.

It took hundreds of Special Forces commandos, a CIA drone operation, and some lateral thinking to avert last-minute disaster.

The more that is coming out about this “pilot rescue” — it’s looking like a massive disaster of a failed operation that the Pentagon is lying about that had nothing to do with rescuing a General.
Independent journalists need to prod this Top Gun narrative. This may explain why Trump was enraged on Easter and demanding an end to satellite imagery.

Reports I've seen indicate that the US and Israel had several hundred on the ground for a mini-war in which the WSO was rescued and up to 1500 IRGC, etc. men were killed. Even if you cut that estimate to 1/10, the IRGC didn't dover themselves with glory.

Kharg's demise would adversely affect the entire global economy...and other than radiation, it's the most potent 'weapon' Iran maintains.

Israel says it has taken out one of Iran’s top intelligence figures in a targeted strike, marking a major hit to Tehran’s security apparatus.

The Israel Defense Forces said Brig. Gen. Majid Khademi, intelligence chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was killed in what officials described as a precision operation. An Israeli official added that Quds Force special operations commander Asghar Bagheri was also eliminated in the same strike, though that has not been formally confirmed by Israel.

In a statement posted on X, the IDF accused Khademi of playing a central role in advancing terror plots abroad while overseeing surveillance of Iranian citizens during the regime’s crackdown on protests.

“Khademi wasn’t just any figure, he was effectively No. 2 within the IRGC, one of the few senior commanders who managed to survive multiple waves of Israeli and American targeting over the past year — until now,” a senior Israeli official told Fox News. “He kept moving, relocating, but ultimately he was hunted down and eliminated.

“He oversaw an intelligence apparatus that repeatedly failed to detect or prevent major Israeli and U.S. operations, including a series of strategic surprises that exposed deep vulnerabilities inside Iran’s security system.”

The same official said Khademi was “deeply involved in attempts to penetrate U.S. systems, including efforts to breach the Pentagon,” and that he “coordinated extensively with Russia.”

Iran is rapidly restoring its missile bunkers to working order just hours after they are pounded by US and Israeli strikes, according to fresh intelligence assessments.

The White House has pointed to a drop in Iranian drone and missile launches since the conflict erupted as evidence that Tehran's strike capabilities are being crippled.

But a newly published US intelligence report cited by The New York Times suggests otherwise, indicating the regime still possesses a substantial arsenal and is swiftly repairing damaged sites.

Some of these massive missile bunkers are buried deep within granite mountains that can withstand crushing pressures far beyond those that conventional construction materials can withstand.

This material puts up the toughest barrier possible for even the most powerful American bunker-busting bomb – the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator.

One of these fortresses, the Yazd missile base, is thought to possess an automated rail system that runs through tunnels linking assembly areas, storage depots, and multiple concealed exits cut into different faces of the mountain.

In similar underground missile cities seen in Iranian propaganda videos, launchers are moved around rapidly on lorries, rolled out to fire, and withdrawn back underground behind heavy armoured doors in the blink of an eye.

Despite weeks of relentless US-Israeli strikes on its facilities, Iran is somehow still able to unleash its hidden arsenal of rockets and drones at targets across the Middle East.

This is the terrifying moment an Iranian missile lands just yards away from an Israeli woman, who somehow manages to walk away alive.

Footage taken early this morning in the Israeli city of Petah Tikva showed the woman getting out of a dark grey car just before 7am local time.

She was seen using her phone, before looking upwards. Less than a second before the impact of the missile, she could be seen reacting to its approach.

The Israeli woman was thrown to the ground as the missile struck. A large plume of smoke and dust rose through the air.

Somehow, she managed to survive the attack and was seen stumbling away.

Local media reported that the woman did survive the attack, but was seriously injured.

Firefighters in the city are said to still be handling cars on fire and continue searching to ensure there are no people trapped in the rubble.

In Tel Aviv, a man slightly injured by glass shrapnel was evacuated to the Ichilov Hospital.

That's because it works! Take Hamas for example. There is presently a ceasefire between them and Israel, and they agreed to disarm to get it. They have not laid down one rifle, and have fired missiles into Israel.

Also notice these delays are being used as cover to prepare assets for missions, effectively.

The missing crew member who was rescued from Iran on Sunday broadcasted "God is good" on encrypted radio after ejecting from his aircraft, a senior U.S. defense official told Fox News Digital.

The weapons systems officer hiked and climbed more than 7,000 feet in the hours before he was rescued, despite sustaining minor injuries to his legs during the ejection.

The officer, who has yet to be identified, remains in good condition and is scheduled to be transported to an American base in Landstuhl, Germany on Monday.

CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper directed a strike on an IRGC headquarters in an underground facility near Tehran on Sunday, top level sources told Fox News.

U.S. forces carried out the strike with B2 bombers, using the same bunker buster weapons used in Operation Midnight Hammer.

The sources say the headquarters was "obliterated."

The strike came at the same time the U.S. was conducting extensive and ultimately successful rescue operations to recover a missing crewmember from a downed F-15E over Iran.

"Bunker Busters" have come a long way since they were introduced a few years ago! They now come equipped with Accelerometers that can detect when they hit an air pocket an instantly explode, rather than passing through and exploding below the target. Cool stuff!

NEW: President Trump says somebody leaked to a media outlet that the first F-15E pilot had been rescued but that the US military was looking for a second crew member. He says Iran didn't know that at the time, and his admin will go to the media outlet who reported it try to force them to disclose their source in the interest of national security or "go to jail".

Trump on the media leak that there was a second missing F-15 crew member: "We have to find that leaker because that is a sick person. [It's a matter of] national security.
