Appears to be the first confirmed ASCM hit on an oil tanker during the war.

The IDF has eliminated the head of the engineering branch of the Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps in Iran.

According to the IDF Spokesperson, engineer Mahdi Vafaei was killed yesterday in the Mahallat area of Iran. He was responsible for advancing underground infrastructure projects across Lebanon and Syria during his two decades in the role.

He also oversaw dozens of underground projects in Lebanon used for storing advanced weapons.

The IDF says that it carried out a strike yesterday on a factory in Iran producing synthetic opioid fentanyl on behalf of the Islamic Republic’s chemical weapons program.

The military says that the fentanyl was being transferred to the SPND Iranian defense body in order to be used in “the research and development of chemical weapons.”

BREAKING: The United Arab Emirates is preparing to help the U.S. and other allies open the Strait of Hormuz by force, a move that would make it the first Persian Gulf country to become a combatant, after being hit by Iranian attacks.

Emirati diplomats have urged the U.S. and military powers in Europe and Asia to form a coalition to open the strait by force, adding that the Iranian regime thinks it is fighting for its existence and is willing to bring the global economy down with it in a chokehold on the strait.

The U.A.E. official said the country was actively reviewing how it could play a military role in securing the strait, including efforts to help clear it of mines and other support services.

The Gulf state has also said the U.S. should occupy islands in the strategic waterway including Abu Musa, which has been held by Iran for a half-century and is claimed by the U.A.E.

Trump has threatened to bomb Iran back to the Stone Age, called their new leader more intelligent than the old, floated a ceasefire, and basically told NATO to get lost. All in the last couple of hours.

The IRGC's characterization is not entirely wrong.

🚨🇮🇷🇮🇱 Iran is launching non-stop ballistic missiles at central Israel right now.

Multiple impacts reported in Holon, a city of 200,000 people south of Tel Aviv.

This is happening while Trump says a ceasefire deal is close. Iran's FM said there is no ground for negotiation.
