COVID fallout based on bad government recommendations is still coming.

According to Blaze Media:

    The peer-reviewed study — conducted by researchers at the University of Oxford, the University of Bristol, and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and published in January in the scientific journal Epidemiology — looked at the safety and effectiveness of the Pfizer-BioNTech BNT162b2 COVID-19 vaccine in healthy children ages 5-15 following the rollout that began in late 2021.

The researchers compared the "effectiveness and safety of: (1) the first vaccine dose versus no vaccination and (2) a second dose versus a single dose only." They compared more than 552,000 youths who were given a first dose of the vaccine with equal numbers of unvaccinated children from the same age groups.

Their findings? Briefly put, “Myocarditis and pericarditis were documented only in the vaccinated groups.” (Emphasis mine.)

The study found "that there were no cases of myocarditis or pericarditis in the unvaccinated group,” though the researchers needlessly noted that this doesn’t mean that the non-vaccinated are free from risk.

Despite these findings, and many others like them, a coalition of medical organizations are fighting to legally force the government to keep recommending that even healthy kids and pregnant women take the COVID jabs.

What does this tell us about them?

Since these diseases were being tracked in youth starting over a decade before bogey-mRNA vaccines were created (do your own DDGing/Googling!), the study needs to be taken with a sizable block of salt. The news outlets reporting this are not including this context in their reports of this study. I won't say this is lying by omission, just careless research/reporting seasoned with confirmation bias.

I’m not sure why the two sides insist on such diametrically opposed straw men. The fact of the matter is, for people who were at great risk of life-threatening complications from a COVID-induced flu, the COVID-19 vaccine was probably a net benefit to them, just as the regular annual flu vaccines are probably a net benefit to them.  However, for those who were not at such risk, including in particular the young, that cost-benefit relationship appears to have been reversed. 

I am at a loss to understand why (a) those you’re arguing with cannot accept the first proposition, and (b) why you cannot accept the second proposition.

The Covid-19 vaccine was beneficial for some, and deleterious for others.

The only sure conclusion I can see that comes out of all this is that it should not have been made mandatory - including through threats against people’s jobs and livelihoods - and it should have been considered as contraindicated for children and young adults except in limited situations where a particular individual had a demonstrable risk factor for respiratory illnesses.

It has been just over a year since Sara Walton Brady was arrested at a Meridian park for violating COVID-19 playground closure restrictions.

Video of the April 21 arrest went viral, and sparked protests at the park and Meridian City Hall that evening. In it, Walton Brady refused police orders to leave the playground area several times before being handcuffed and led to the officer's patrol car. She later issued a public apology to that officer, but the Meridian mother of four still maintains she did nothing wrong, and that she was standing in an open area of the park.

The two owners of a New Jersey gym were arrested on Monday morning for continuing to operate their business in defiance of Gov. Phil Murphy's COVID-19 orders for indoor workout facilities to remain closed.

Ian Smith, 33, and Frank Trumbetti, 51, owners of Atilis Gym in the Camden County town of Bellmawr, were taken into custody at their business, where they have been staying since last week, officials said. They were arrested when they attempted to open their doors again.

Smith of Delanco Township and Trumbetti of Williamstown were each charged with fourth-degree contempt, obstruction and violation of a disaster control act, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer. Both were released with disorderly person summonses, Mayer said in a statement to ABC News.

After being released, Smith issued a statement on Facebook saying, "Welcome to America 2020, where feeding your family and standing up for your Constitutional rights is illegal."

The American public will NEVER trust the government again on such things, especially after finding out how DHHS funded the research in WuHan and Fauci tried to hide his complicity.

If you burn the considerable time to read what I've posted the past several years wrt Covid vaccine claims, you will find that I have NEVER claimed the have been no adverse reactions. I'm not that stooooopid. So who is posting a straw man, @Kamaji?

Just to aid your search - well it would aid you were TBR's Search function not disabled - you could look for phrases along the lines of, "If Covid vaccines are as deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim ...". As this phrase illustrates, I have been very carefully, for years, avoiding the stooopidity of claiming there have been no adverse reactions. ANYtime something - vaccine or disease - revs up the immune system, there is a finite risk of auto-immune responses. Hence Covid causing pericarditis and myocarditis (DDG or Google it for yourself!).

If you Reeeealy want to look at discussion of Covid vaccine context here on TBR, consider the context of some anti-Covid-vaxxers' claims: vaccinated people would die within 3 years; the blood of vaccinated people is filled with clots and sludge; the Pfizer vaccine has hydras; the Pfizer vaccine causes vaccination sites to be magnetic; Covid vaccines have "chips". Plus or minus the magnetism claim, those have all been posted on TBR, as serious claims. So if you think I dismiss claims of Covid vaccines' supposed deadliness, consider that context. And as I have been asking for several years, if The Vaccine is as deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers, where are the millions of extra dead bodies? Why are the US death rate, cancer rates, everything-else-anti-Covid-vaxxers-claim rates unchanged? Why, after over 5 years is there still no beef?

Nothing in life is zero risk, not getting up in the morning and not staying in bed all morning. In matters medical, falsehoods and exaggeration have significant risk, regardless of POV.

Any way, around May, 2020 we reconnected.  He told me his former boss, a general/doctor that heads the viral research group  warned him under no circumstance take any of the mRNA vaccines, 'THEY ARE DEADLY'.  I reported this all to you back then what I heard, and even then you were quick to defend the use of mRNA vaccines. 

And what is happening since?  Mortality rates are up 10% across the board in every country with high vax rates.  Children are developing the above heart conditions, and I heard Dr Peter McCullough, one of the few doctors that was right on the money when COVID was rampant, he said children are developing cancers they never had before, and children are developing the above heart conditions like he has never seen in great numbers.  It is a major issue, and a total failure on the part of the CDC to do their damn job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And f*** the NIH, which had the modern day Dr Mengele leading the effort, Dr Fauci, a totally evil puke of a human.  Another Trump cluster f***!!!!!!!!  He is so quick to fire people, it was evident within weeks of COVID starting that something was gravely amiss with Fauci!!!!!!!

Sorry, but with all due respect, you take the “it’s like mothers milk” approach to these vaccines and you discount all evidence of risk.  You are as much in error as those who think the vaccines were an attempt o thin the herd. 

If these were any other vaccines, they would have been withdrawn based on the accumulating risk and injury data, as has been done with other vaccines in the past.

But, because these  vaccines were a political favorite of the left, all risk has been downplayed.

It’s a shame that you seem to sail to the same tack on this one. 

The vaccines may have been a net plus for you, that’s great, not gonna take that away from you, and I quite agree that the data doesn’t in the least justify any of the conspiracy theory nonsense.

But the fact remains that these vaccines should never have been mandatory, and in particular not for otherwise healthy children and young adults.

None of this is true. Mortality rates went right back down to normal once the virus was allowed to run its course. Like all respiratory viruses do.

That is a fair criticism. In their haste to justify the lockdowns, the powers that be were desperate to have a safe and effective vaccine. The fact is, there was no justifying the lockdowns, vaccine or no vaccine. Yet Trump did nothing to sanction the governors who violated the constitution in doing so.
