Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Friday the United States is preparing to launch what he called the largest wave of strikes yet against Iran.
President Donald Trump announced last Saturday that the United States had launched Operation Epic Fury alongside Israel’s Operation Lion’s Roar, triggering a continuing exchange of attacks as the Iran regime responded with missiles and drones targeting U.S. and Israeli positions. “As Secretary Hegseth, General Caine and the President have all said, tonight will be our biggest bombing campaign. And we’ll do the most damage to the Iranian missile launchers, the factories that build the missiles, and we are substantially degrading them,” Bessent told host Larry Kudlow.
