CNN hit by ANOTHER falsehood scandal after Ana Navarro arrogantly deflected attempts to fix her incorrect claim about NYC ISIS attack

CNN political commentator Ana Navarro scrambled and then changed the subject after falsely stating the ISIS-inspired attack near Zohran Mamdani's home over the weekend had been launched against the New York mayor.

In reality, suspects Emir Balat, 18, and Ibrahim Kayumi, 19, attempted to detonate homemade explosives near a group of far-right protesters who had been convened outside Gracie Mansion, authorities allege.

The picket had been against a so-called 'Islamic takeover of New York City', in reference to Mamdani.

Navarro made the flub as the Tuesday CNN NewsNight panel debated whether Republicans were using the failed strike to stir up anti-Muslim sentiment. 

Navarro told the panel: 'What I find ironic is - so, supposedly, some of these comments are as a result of the attempt against Mayor Mamdani in New York, who was raised Muslim. Was he not?'

Former New York City Council Republican Joe Borelli was quick to flag: 'The attack wasn't on Mayor Mamdani. It was attacking protesters, people protesting Mamdani.'

Navarro insisted over him, 'It was at his house!' - making the claim twice as Borelli tried to explain. 

The retired politician politely persisted, not long after host Abby Phillip made the same mistake, but avoided any on-air pushback.

CNN which is renown for 'making up' fictitious pro-Democrat narratives, and ignoring all/any stories which may be interpreted in any way as being pro-Republican or pro-Trump, has now crossed all lines of any journalistic integrity.

NOT ONLY ARE THEY REPORTING THE STORY 'INCORRECTLY', THEY ARE REPORTING AS 'TRUTH' THE VERY EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. They tried very hard to sow confusion in order to imply that the anti-Muslim protesters were throwing bombs at Mamdani's home. When in reality, Muslims were throwing bombs at the protesters.

Anyone still watching CNN as quote 'news', is a fool.
