Gunfire rang out near the U.S. Consulate in Toronto early Tuesday, rattling the downtown diplomatic hub and prompting a police investigation into what officials are calling an unacceptable act of intimidation.Toronto police said officers responded to reports of shots fired near the consulate in the early morning hours.
