You know that classic Norm Macdonald moment where he satirically fears the “backlash against peaceful Muslims” if ISIS killed 50 million Americans? That’s exactly the playbook New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani pulled after two Muslim men attempted an IED attack on Christians protesting outside his mansion, shouting “Allahu Akbar” as they threw lit devices clad in black tape. Instead of calling out the obvious Islamic terrorism, Mamdani refused to mention Islam at all and started his speech by slamming “Islamophobia.” He did the Norm Macdonald tweet! Mayor Mamdani starts his speech on an ISIS attack by slamming Islamophobia.




Precisely. It’s like when Mamdani lied when campaigning and said his relative was a victim in 9/11 because she dealt uncomfortable rising the subway. Turns out she didn’t even live in NYC.

Absolutely right.
The only reason zombie-mammie received just over 50% of the vote was because cuomo was in the race.

I cuomo had dropped out, I think it's fair to say that zombie would have won with around 70% -- perhaps even a little more.

He is most definitely the mayor New Yorkers WANTED.

I'm not so sure they wanted him as lined up, blinded by the dreamlike brilliance of Free Everything and the glow of Socialist warmth.
So much so, that they ignored the Muslim part...
