I don't know. The last time we've seen this cult of devotion was 80 years ago, and by this point the opposition was mostly ready to give up, but these guys persist.

I know religion is a strong motivator, but we're on the third string and they are still holding together. It's anyone's guess to me.

My prediction is that the regime holds on to some semblance of power for another month or two. But eventually, things will deteriorate to a point where they go underground and transform into Hezbollah. They won't have any government hold, but will be able to extort locals from scattered strongholds. Except that they'll get no sympathy on the world stage like Hezbollah and Hamas get, because Jews will no longer be their main adversary. At that point, they'll be another islamic faction fighting for control of the next caliphate which has been islam's legacy for the past 13 centuries.

Kuwait was the last one we 'won', but only because it was over before the 5th column/4th estate could get their propaganda machine spooled up. The Media and Washington have been losing wars since Korea (which is just a cease fire, not settled).
