I shortened the headline to get in the part about Arabic and Farsi. Apparently, someone is jamming emergency communications systems with anti-Semitic messages.

PITTSBURGH — Allegheny County Emergency Services, with the assistance of Allegheny County Police and federal law enforcement partners, are investigating an unauthorized use of public safety radio channels.

The investigation revolves around disturbing messages made over EMS scanners, entailing potentially antisemitic messages, racist remarks, and threats toward Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O'Connor.

Seems the cops are being harassed by someone jamming their stations by playing random anti-semitic messages.  They are moved their operation to private channels.

The messages are getting darker and daring including foreign language broadcast (German, Farsi) and a new computer generated threat about the stadiums.

The stadium one was computer generated.  "Have extra security at the next event at the stadium" and it repeated twice.

I couldn't figure why any Joooo-hater would threaten the Catholic O'Connor, but it turns out the mayor's mother was Jewish. Who knew?
