Objective: Clear the way for Iranians to establish a non theocratic government, and that means removing the former one.
Leave the rest up to Iran how they want to do things. They've seen both sides now, and I doubt they'd select another murderous and oppressive regime.

Trumps said he didn't know. But that he is creating Jobs in Iran and America.

I'm thinking more on the lines of blinding them to what's going through the straight and taking out anything that they can launch missiles with.

The B-1 is the most spectacular bomber ever built.  I can likely step outside right now and see one flying over doing training runs.  It's amazing when they fire up the afterburners. We had 2 of the B-2's land here after their run to Iran the other day, because of bad weather further east.  God bless your dad!

I believe he acted upon the information that he was given; whether or not that information was reliable is questionable.  IMHO his first 4 years, he did ok, it was the last 4 years in which he became a huge disappointment.

"He's been marinating in Khomeinist ideology his entire career. Khomeinism is a threat to U.S. interests," Jason Brodsky, policy director of United Against Nuclear Iran, told Fox News Digital.

The founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1979, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini's "Death to America" pledge is a core feature of Khomeinism, according to experts.

According to a UANI report, Arafi has long been agitating against the U.S. and Israel. "America will take its wish for Iran to abandon production of military hardware to the grave," he is quoted as saying, and in a 2019 Friday prayer sermon he announced, "We will stay with our imam and leader to the end, when we humiliate [global] arrogance. Together with the Sayyed of the resistance, we say: Oh great leader of the world of Islam, we will be with you until the end, when the arrogant people in the world are defeated, and Israel is erased."

Brodsky continued, "The fact that Iran’s system elevated Alireza Arafi to membership on the interim leadership council is a signal that he could be a leading candidate to replace Ali Khamenei as supreme leader.

Arafi is also being watched in Washington. In an interview with Fox News Digital on Sunday, Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, described Arafi as ""a very hard-line cleric."

I agree with this post. It wasn't a secret of what was coming. The Pentagon didn't call me and say "berdie we're going to bomb Iran". But I got pretty suspicious when all the military assets were moved into place. And I'm certainly no military strategist. I think it was a matter of waiting until the Olympics were over.

FOXNEWS reporting that TWO drones have hit the US Embassy in Riyadh and "...a 3rd may hit at any moment".

Moments later Laura Ingraham clarified that the Embassy was not occupied at the moment of the attack.

The US needs to achieve total air supremacy so that the risk of aircraft getting shot down is minimal, then it will be widespread bombing of all the secondary targets across the country. Anywhere where missiles are manufactured, stored or launched.

I very much hope we are providing a large number of arms to the Iranian people to take down the Islamists.

I sure hope they are...we know Massad and probably CIA or Delta has to be on the ground..they were following the bodyguards of some of those killed in the first strike when they got all 49...they thought they were safe since they thought the US and Israel only attack during the day and not on the Sabbath..lol

With what has happened one would think arrangements have already been made by most to leave.  You don't stay behind or wait till the last minute when a significant conflict is taking place around you.
