I had to take a little time away..it's so upsetting to me to see members of Congress and some of the American people not stand behind the President or military..instead they are spewing lies and obscene remarks calling for him to resign or be impeached although they know in their hearts he is right but they dare not show it....shame on them...they can all go to hell!

IMHO, President Trump is making decisions that will have him go down in history as our greatest president.

For nearly 50 years, the USA has largely stood by and allowed Iran terrorize the entire world, killing thousands of our men in uniform with seldom a retaliatory response.  This sh*t show hopefully is coming to an end with the brilliant leadership of President Trump.

The sane, civilized world is applauling President Trump for his determination to end this terror threat.  Europe, as predictable, just can't pull their tail from between their legs, they could not be more cowardly if they tried.  But the UGLY TRUTH is that they are well on their way to becoming islamic states.  And trust me, they will also become threats to the civilized world that will have to be dealt with!

And the Democommies, well, they remain the single greatest existential threat to our republic.  Most despicable is Sen Adam Shiff, a maggot of grand proportion and a perfect example of what California has become, a stinking cesspool.  This man would explode if he ever told the truth.

And AOC, she is completely inconsequential.  Her idiocy is a guarantee she will NEVER influence much of anything other than a handful of lunatics that have an IQ lower than the speed limit in a school zone.  I long ago added the University of Boston, her alma mater, to the list of schools I would NEVER hire a grad from.

Thanks for the prayers @Wingnut  even though I'm not convinced they're needed for questioning President Trump's military actions, I'll gladly take them.  . 

I think asking what imminent threat to the United States has been uncovered requiring military action and regime change is prudent --- especially since just this past May the President was preaching against such interventions in a speech to Arab leadership in Riyadth.

His speech embodied the courage and vision I have supported for 11 years.  But, it appears he's now fundamentally changed his mind and course, but I could be wrong.  So, I don't think it's un-American to ask what's up with the 180° turn.   In fact, I think it is quintessentially pro-American to do so.

Five Persian Gulf nations that host U.S. military installations claim they have collectively shot down more than 1,500 Iranian missiles and drones since the United States and Israel launched their joint attack at 9:45 a.m. Tehran time on Feb. 28.
 
The United Arab Emirates (UAE)—whose forces have battled Tehran-backed Houthis in Yemen—has borne the brunt of the Iranian attacks.

While numbers are fluid and reported timelines varied, as of 6 p.m. ET on March 1—2:30 a.m. March 2 in Iran—the UAE Ministry of Defense reported it had knocked down 165 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and more than 540 drones.

Debris from destroyed projectiles crashed into several Abu Dhabi residential neighborhoods, killing at least one civilian, the ministry reported, also stating that at least three people have been killed in Iranian strikes in UAE.

If it wasn’t clear from yesterday’s roundup, it appears that a whole lot of Islamic Republic of Iran leaders were physically meeting at Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s bunker in Tehran when the successful decapitation strike was carried out as part of Operation Epic Fury/Roaring Lion. The operations are still ongoing, and here are some news updates.

•  “‘All’ of [Ali Khamenei’s] likely successors are ‘probably dead’ following US-Israeli strikes.”

•   Mick Mulvaney, former Trump OMB head and Chief of Staff: “A high risk, high reward type of operation.”

•   A “once in a lifetime opportunity” to both end the nuclear program and effect regime change. “All the [Iranian] senior leadership gathered together at one place at one time.”

•   The daylight attack must have meant we had really solid intel on the regime meeting. Most of our Middle East strikes happen at night during a new moon. “An opportunity they simply couldn’t pass up.”
•   “All of [Ali Khamenei’s] likely successors are probably dead as well.”

•   “The chances of getting a pro-Western, pro-American regime in Iran were as high as it ever was going to be.”

•   John Bolton was lamenting that these actions weren’t taken six or seven years ago, but the situation on the ground now is very different. “Everything has to come together at the same time for this to work.”

Coercion.  Either some damning intelligence the Israelis gathered before he became president, or Netanyahu threatening to start the war (possibly including nuclear weapons) if we did not take the lead. 

Trump's voters should be unhappy with him.  He broke his promise.  The stated goal of regime change is especially perilous, as the Israelis will insist on another puppet state like the one the anglos installed in 1953.  Who knows.  Maybe they will submit to imperialism after enough people have died.  But Pandora's box has been opened, and Trump will be held responsible for whatever emerges.

Kuwait ‘mistakenly’ shoots down 3 US F-15s: Pentagon

Kuwait “mistakenly” shot down three U.S. F-15 fighter jets on Sunday after strikes were launched against Iran one day earlier, according to U.S. Central Command (Centcom).

Centcom said in a statement obtained by The Hill’s sister network NewsNation that the fighter jets were downed in Kuwait shortly after 11 p.m. EST Sunday.

The jets “were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses,” according to the statement.

The six service members who were on board the jets “ejected safely,” Centcom added, and are “in stable condition.”

“Kuwait has acknowledged this incident, and we are grateful for the efforts of the Kuwaiti defense forces and their support in this ongoing operation. The cause of the incident is under investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available,” its statement said.

Kuwait’s army said in a statement that “several U.S. military aircraft crashed.”

Hegseth tells nation: 'We didn't start this war, but under President Trump, we are finishing it'

War Secretary Pete Hegseth addressed the nation amid Operation Epic Fury on Monday, saying the U.S. didn't start the conflict with Iran, "but under President Trump, we are finishing it."

Hegseth said Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's regime was building fleets of ballistic missiles and drones in an attempt to "create a conventional shield for their nuclear blackmail ambitions."

"To Iranian security forces: Choose wisely. President Trump has also been clear about your fate in either direction," Hegseth said.

The War Secretary went on to dismiss accusations that the attack on Iran is another "endless war" that could bog down the U.S.

"This operation is a clear, devastating, decisive mission. Destroy the missile threat. Destroy the navy. No nukes," Hegseth said. "We fight to win, and we don't waste time or lives."

Caine gave a detailed a detailed timeline of the buildup and execution of the operation, saying it was a coordinated effort involving aircraft launched from the mainland United States, bases in the region and the USS Gerald Ford and Abraham Lincoln strike groups.
