With that consideration Trump has a very difficult decision and likely also a decision by Congress; will the death of the Ayatollah stop Iran's enrichment program??? Will the Iranian people be able to 'elect' or select a new leader or will one be installed for them???  There's always the possibility that this issue will be kicked down the road for the U.S. to confront again.  If the DEMS are in power, good luck  with that one. 

Let me clarify, the lives of our military is precious and no one want to see any American bloodshed.  Perhaps continued strategic bombing at this point so that no American lives are lost @DCPatriot ???

Secure multiple locations that allow armed Iranian opposition forces to expand from. Let Iranians vote with arms.

The other thing is secure the Iraq/Iran border from the air so that Iraq can't arm or provide manpower to the Mullahs.

In the dark of the night, 10 minutes before President Donald Trump even announced that the U.S. and Israel had attacked Iran, a network of U.S. nonprofits aligned with China, Russia and Tehran activated foot soldiers to hit America's streets.

Groups funded by Neville Roy Singham, a Shanghai-based, American-born tech tycoon, which regularly parrot messaging from America's adversaries, swung into action even as the initial bombs were dropping. The nearly instantaneous response was the latest salvo in an information war on the U.S., with foot soldiers called upon to converge in protests and echo anti-U.S. talking points.

At 2:34 a.m. ET, the ANSWER Coalition, a nonprofit project whose leaders self-describe as Marxist and communist, announced: "EMERGENCY NATIONWIDE DAY OF ACTION TODAY, SAT. FEB 28 — STOP THE WAR WITH IRAN!"

It announced its network: groups that have long supported the regime in Iran, including the National Iranian American Council, 50501, American Muslims for Palestine, the People’s Forum, Palestinian Youth Movement, and CodePink. The organizations haven't responded to requests for comment. Singham did not respond to a request for comment.

The network set the language for their anti-U.S. messaging, calling the war an "unprovoked, illegal bombing of Iran." It even set up a website domain for the coordinated actions: http://ANSWERCoalition.org.

Ten minutes later, at 2:44 a.m., Trump posted a video, confirming the attack on Iran, telling the world: "A short time ago, the United States military began major combat operations in Iran.

Eight minutes later, at 2:52 a.m., the People’s Forum — a New York-based activist hub funded by Singham as an "incubator" for socialist groups — issued an "emergency" call to action for a protest in Times Square.

"🚨 EMERGENCY DAY OF ACTION IN NYC TO STOP THE WAR WITH IRAN: TODAY, 2/28 at 2PM in Times Square," the People's Forum announced.

The ANSWER Coalition runs operations out of the People's Forum headquarters in midtown Manhattan. The People’s Forum statement mirrored the messaging in a new video released overnight before the attacks by the Chinese Communist Party, framing the U.S. as an imperial and colonial power. The People's Forum said:

"This war serves no one but a tiny elite and oil executives and is a continuation of more than two years of genocide in Palestine and US-Israeli aggressions throughout the region," The People's Forum said in a statement.

The US military carried out nearly 900 US strikes in the first 12 hours of this operation, US defense official tells me. The strikes came “from land, air and sea and included drones.”
All the while “defending against 100s of incoming Iranian ballistic missiles.”

Iran has fired about 300 missiles today. They have 2000 long range missiles and 2000 shorter range missiles. They had built back up their arsenal since last summer.

In Bahrain at the 5th Fleet HQ the Iranians hit an “empty warehouse” and a Ray Dome - radar installation - the dome seen in the video from the strike. There are multiple redundancies and nothing that has happened has affected the mission, according to this official.

What is the goal/end state:
“Iran doesn’t have the capability to attack its neighbors: no drones, no missiles, no Navy.”

The US and its partners know where Iran’s highly enriched uranium is, but it is hard to get to.

Expect the operation to last “a couple of weeks.” But POTUS could decide to off ramp early if he chooses.

There are still a number of air defenses left, according to US official. Will take a few days to suppress.

It’s time for Democrats to jump off of the Mamdani bandwagon and join Sen. Fetterman and Josh Gottheimer and others and welcome the end of the Iranian terror regime.

The appeasement policies of Obama only empowered Iran with billions of dollars they used to build up a terror apparatus and come closer to their goal of “death to America.”

Mamdani now has shown who he is in his posts by decrying US “aggression” rather than calling for the end of a regime that killed tens of thousands of their own people, largely students. And let’s not forget Tucker Carlson on the other side — even his sponsor Qatar faced over 40 missiles from Iran and is turning on them.

The Iranians have lost their leadership, have alienated all their neighbors, and there is even support for their end from Arab countries. It’s time for the Democrats en masse to get behind America and the elimination of the most evil regime on earth.
